Am currently attending a 1 year master’s program to help my GPA.

School list:

I am for sure reapplying to the 3 texas schools and applying to WesternU, however I am not sure about the other schools or any ones I have not listed here. Cost would be an issue for me (as for most people). Any insight would be incredibly helpful!

Cost would be an issue for me (as for most people), but I am looking into applying for the FAP AADSAS fee waiver and am going to use my credit card points for flights/etc! Any insight would be incredibly helpful!
First time applying for myself but if you don't mind me asking, what were your stats like when you applied to westernU the first time?

TMDSAS is definitely difficult, especially because 87% of the enrollees have 3.5 sGPA or above. But, it does not hurt to try.

Looking at your application, I think you should apply to more schools in AADSAS preferably 10 or more.

I'd take out Howard since most enrollees are African American students. There are some Asian at Howard, but chances are not great, honestly.

Western, Creighton and WVU should be easy or reach school. UNE should be also easy school for you.

Happy to comment on if you add more schools to your list.

Hello, I only applied to the 3 TX schools my first cycle as I am a TX resident and that was the advice of my advisors/peers. This will be my first time using AADSAS and applying to WesternU!

Thank you, I'll take out Howard and look into UNE! I'm still looking to add more schools and just going through the spreadsheets/websites that are available online as well as my advisors and will update accordingly. :)

One of the graduated students in my grad program suggested to apply to the Colorado Dental School because apparently they like Texas applicants? And another friend of mine suggested Columbia because of their holistic approach (is that true? I'm not sure.)
What do y'all think about me adding Colorado to my school list?

So far I have on AADSAS:

Western U
Colorado
University of New England
Louisville
Minnesota
Columbia

Oh, and I took out Creighton as they do not accept AP credit, and half my english prereq's are AP credit. :(

You definitely do not need to be African American to apply to Howard. It ends up being that way because Howard is a historically black university. Not sure why "TheDentalSchoolCoach" said your chances would not be great..?
