Yes I talk a lot. My manator in my first game was @Crayola227 which may say something.

But no, I do not want the job. I would normally not mind but I have kids IRL and have to travel to see them so there will be days where I will be less active.

In terms of my WW experience, I played in the noob game last year, but did I really learn very much, not necessarily, but I have much more time this year to learn enough to hopefully participate in future games! I agree that it’s extremely hard to read people, especially since we just started and have not played with each other before. With that said, I hope you will vote me for mayor, as I will contribute to the best of my abilities!

This makes me worried that people will think I'm sus when the reality is that I'm on my 3rd week of being home sick and just have nothing else to do other than sit on my computer all day

Same though. I'm trying to study for finals too so I keep checking in when I want to procrastinate and when I do there's like 8957239 comments to catch up on.

Still needing more convincing reasons on who I should vote for mayor... these chatty people are making me suspicious but I'm a noob so 😵 I feel like a lot of people aren't participating. What say you, fellow noobs!?

Musings on participation from an incorrigible online chatterbox:

Keeping up with the thread as much as possible is extremely helpful -- whether you are wolf, villager, or third party affiliation. I have noticed that when players try to catch up on posts after a long absence, they are more likely to describe the game as a burden and are more likely to quit.

In the healthcare professions, it's sometimes impossible (and undesirable) to stay glued to your phone, but trust me -- checking in whenever you can will make it easier and more fun for you & for everyone else!

I feel your pain. Last year when I played in the noob game I was working in an ER and largely got lost in all the comments. Try not to get discouraged like I did! If you fall behind for a day or two it’s okay!

It could be, but sloth was the first person to say they wanted to do it and have since the beginning. Doesn’t seem to be an aww shucks guys kind of a thing. I’m not familiar with their posting style so I don’t know if the way they are posting is weird.

The surge also came after mayos and M935 initial votes. Yeah it can look suspicious but to be expected in noob games

I'm down for alternatives if any. My rationale is mayos didn't want to be mayor and breads is inactive. Slothy seems to be the only one making a case
