i was preparing a tinfoil theory that being asked for jelly was the manner of conversion to cult, but i don't think the timeline works out. from what i can tell, these people have been asked for jelly:

N1: mayo --> blue bold
N2: Matt (not found) --> pig latin

I thought the jelly thing seemed harmless, but that's before I knew a cult existed. And I'm currently playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, so I'm feeling very anti-cult. The jelly thing has been going on the entire game, and now we know there's a cult actively trying to turn villagers into cultists.

Honestly that would suck. I too have thought that it would be smart for wolves to convert me or whatever if that’s at all possible but this cult business just throws a whole other level into it.

Agreed. I don’t like it either.
I can say this though since we’ve came out as masons we know one person converted was Matthew. Night before I was locked in a room.
so we have Kas who could be converted but he’s my Mason buddy and at this point I don’t think he’s been converted.

So night 3 I was locked in a room. I kept it hidden to see if Nas was going to say he came for me and couldn’t find me and that was the source of his affliction and to hide the fact that I was protected so wolves wouldn’t know I was vulnerable last night lol. Turns out Nas is going to be screwed until he gets jelly I think.

I'm not convinced nasterzinger has anything directly to do with the cult. I mean, if you were a cult leader and everyone else just found out about your cult, would you start out the day by saying you're growing stronger? Also, unless nasterzinger has multiple actions they can make every night, I would assume their action is used in an attempt to find jelly, not to recruit. I don't think they're the same action as mentioned by others earlier.

I’m literally so confused now. I just checked last year’s noob game, and it took them until day 6 to vote out a wolf. They also lost to the wolves though so let’s avoid that. I think we should pay attention to this cult but we really need to yeet a wolf. Every day I wake up and there’s a new curveball thrown at us.

I don't know enough about this game to know if this is a thing, but maybe 3ps are a group with a common goal the way wolves are, and only one of them could kill per night? I'm not sure. I'm spitballing with this, but I'm relatively confident in what I'd said before (or it's an odd coincidence)...

Oof, this is a really good theory (and I can't deny it) and if I wasn't being the one targeted I would totally agree with it... but all I can say is that idk why there was only one kill that night. I'm still confused how exactly M395 died, as I don't think we got that from the write-up

Just going off this, looks like Elmer Fudd was beaten with his own shotgun, so it's likely that he performed the Jhon (Inspector Gadget) who was found with bullet holes? Also, we don't know how sloth died, so is it possible that on N2 Elmer was able to kill sloth before he himself was killed by wolves? Is that possible?

I'm not sure how I can defend myself more (I'm going to look back at more of the threads) but personally, I'm most sus of Vet01 right now because of his wolf/notwolfy list, especially since there is one person on the wolfy-list side that I can confirm isn't wolf....

Not kras and samac since they're confirmed masons, but theres someone else in that list that I am confident is not wolfy, but would like to wait on outing till later (trying to talk it over with my mentor)

Also, because now that we have cultists that make our (villager's) job extra difficult, I think it may be best to try to figure out the wolves first before finding 3p (which I'm definitely not). If there is a 3p out there that is killing, it looks like they can't kill every night for some reason so there must be a contingency that doesn't allow them to kill every night. If we're able to yeet a wolf before yeeting a chaos 3p (which I can't stress enough that I'm not) that will help us long run.

You're growing stronger? Okay maybe weird choice of words but this put a theory in my mind. I've suspected Nas was 3p because of the weird messages, but assumed they were on a harmless search for jelly. The phrasing "growing stronger" made me think they might not be harmless? Irl cults are known to do some weird things, and jelly makes me think of kool-aid lol, and now that we know there is a cult at play the jelly thing seems more sus to me.

If anything, I'm solidly convinced nas is 3p as of now, and since I'm unsure who is village and who is wolf, at the risk of yeeting another villager I will choose someone who I believe to be 3p
