I remember reading how easy it was to grow undesirable (or even dangerous) microbes when making/fermenting your own alcohol, so that’s why I was a little hesitant to try the mead my roommate made in her closet.

Now I have to go back and read the argument against Vis because I somehow missed it when I skipped over a page or two to quickly post before leaving. Good job everyone! It was pointed out above that wolves would likely diversify their votes, so I don’t think voting with Vis every time proves anything about me being a wolf. I’m surprised though, I haven’t really interacted with Vis much and didn’t really trust him so I’m shocked that we ended up voting for the same people. Tomorrow, I plan on going back through all of my previous posts and explaining again why I voted for each person.

I just asked my manator for advice because I’m honestly lost on what I else I should do to defend myself. I’ve already told you all that I have the reflection ability, so whatever is done to me passively reflects back onto the person who made an action on me. I didn’t know wolves could have an ability until it was pointed out by Mayo a few pages back. I haven’t had any night actions so far. Nobody’s visited me, I haven’t been blocked or converted or anything. I’m actually not totally sure how night actions work because I haven’t had one, but I am assuming they are done through PMs somehow?

Now that we have found a wolf, we really need to find the cult (especially the leader) and yeet them before they can convert more members and reach parity. I urge you all to do an iso (like Mayo said they would do a few days ago) and look at my posts because I don’t think I’ve been wolf-like at all. I don’t know how to do an iso (another question for my manator), but I will be trying to quote my old posts tomorrow once I’m on my laptop and not on my phone.

Yeeting me would mean losing someone who isn’t 3P or wolf, and we would be one step closer to parity and losing the game.

It really isn't bad at all; the lower alcohol content stuff is sweet, but if you dedicate yourself you can make a hard alcohol out of it that really isn't sweet because it's mostly ethanol haha.

One of the profs at my school makes it. We have a tradition where we go carolling at profs houses and they get us drunk, and last year we went to his place as one of our stops. He had options ranging from 15%-40+%, and kept walking around talking people into taking more shots of the hard stuff. His house was the last place I remember being that night, and at least 1 of my classmates ended up vomiting in his front yard (a photo of which made the opening slide of his powerpoint in the next lecture he taught).

***Not related to the game but I wanted to share (sappy post ahead):***
So I've worked over 50 hrs at the animal hospital in the last 4 days (my surgery team had today off but I worked in ER). I've seen everything from doggy lymphoma, seizures, emergency c-sections, and a femur fracture in a dog that launched off a 3 storey balcony, to a pup that literally ate the Christmas turkey. Tbh, I've worked all major holidays for the last 5 years, mainly because I have no family except my mom, and I like helping out my coworkers with kids. After a while, holidays kinda become just another day. However, this morning my surgeon stopped by wearing a Santa hat and these obnoxious red "Naughty/Nice" slippers (with bells no less 😆) to bring us Christmas dinner from a restaurant in town. As crazy as this Christmas was, I feel so blessed to be where I am and to have gained a new family in SDN. Thanks for being awesome everybody, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

The cartoons were pretty pleased with their Christmas miracle. What a victory!

Some still seemed a tad uneasy about all of the cult talk so were extra cautious when going to sleep that night. Lots of booby traps were placed. Some even enlisted a security guard or five to stand watch.

From what I was reading on the wiki it seems that way, but I guess that's up to the mods for each particular game, maybe one of the cultists at random takes on the leader/requiter role if the leader dies. But I think it's probably not the case?

I think they are only a danger if they are also a wolf. I think we should focus on wolf hunting.

I just rechecked the timing of this night message, and it looks like it was after N3 - so it's possible that Vet01 wasn't converted and just had their role checked that night, but I lean towards it being an N2 conversion, otherwise I don't see why zepp would announce that info but not others

My Grandma irl grew up in a cult, they make you do some weird things, so I don't know that the jelly search is necessarily meant to make sense if it's a cult thing. I think Nas did say they would grow stronger if they found the jelly, or gain an ability or something, sounds like cult stuff.

That said though, I'm thinking we should focus on getting wolves because even if the remaining cult member can recruit there's still much smaller numbers of them than wolves and would take the cult longer to reach parity

Not sure, was just theorizing since they posted normal prior to N2, then after N2 began posting weird, and the cult leader seems to have been able to recruit on only even nights. This is my first game so idk what typically happens to cult converts.
