It's worth noting, btw, that I am blind when DVMD plays. I can't read her at all. I feel too guilty lynching a friend, so even when my gut says she's a wolf I just don't dig in and suss it out.

She could easily be a rezzed wolf. Did anyone ever own up to rezzing her?

I'm on his **** list anyways

#yolo

[DVMDream]

Ok. Then we should be lynching them.

Anyone want to switch to one or the other?

If teep isn't a wolf, you'll be wasting two lynches on rezzes which will allow the wolves that much closer to win.

[Animal Midwife]

Technically teep is on my suspect list but I'm gonna be stubborn and stay on AM

Well, if it wasn't me, it'd be Mel.

[DVMDream]

No, she said she was mod rezzed like teep

Dude I claimed it first. Teep just copied.

[Mad Jack]

How do you feel about your buddy there, btw?

I had decided to lean him village because of late start + role name.

But in the n=1..? 2? I have for him as a wolf, he votes late or does not vote at all

@Mad Jack I would prefer some actual contributions

No

[Animal Midwife]

You are fully aware of what happens after I'm lynched right.

[SportPonies]

If one of the rezzes is a wolf, it's DVMD

[WildZoo]

You are fully aware of what happens after I'm lynched right.

I'm hoping the game ends...

[DVMDream]

Either teep is telling the truth and we're both villagers or teep was rezzed by a wolf since no one is claiming his rez either. I have no way to tell other than to lynch teep. But damn if we're both villagers that really ****ing wastes two lynches for the village. Because as I'm seeing it now, no one is going to believe either of us.

Now I'm regretting asking to come back as it was worse for the village than I though it would be.

[WildZoo]

Well, if it wasn't me, it'd be Mel.

Wat

[Melchizedek]

************************************************************

And if any of you students or pre-vets ever quotes me calling DVMD a friend, I will personally hack into NAVLE and make sure you fail.

Go ahead, I never wanted to be a vet anyway 😉

[SportPonies]

Ah. I know why it does not -- just hold that thought for a second.

How long is a second?

[Animal Midwife]

I'm hoping the game ends...

You will be two days away from lylo. It's time to start planning now. I'll even stop being bitter and help with that. I won't be stopping any kills anymore.

[WildZoo]

How long is a second?

525,600...wait no, that's not right

[DVMDream]

If one of the rezzes is a wolf, it's DVMD

Why do you say this? What has teep done or said that convinces you he's village?

[Animal Midwife]

Wat

You straight up said Mel would be your candidate today.

[SportPonies]

Lynch ends in 45 minutes, correct?

[Animal Midwife]

Lynch ends in 45 minutes, correct?

Yes. The wolf is laughing.

[DVMDream]

What's the last lynch tally?

[PippyPony]

Sorry AM but I'm going to fully out the info I have on you.

So, for everyone who is not actually reading the thread:

AM is Mel's mason partner

They were protectors of each other while the other one lived

It appears they could be blocked or otherwise disrupted

I talked to Mel on D4 (I think? I'm all messed up by the night that didn't happen) at which point the suspicions I had about their role were confirmed.

vmh and I were the only people who knew the extent of their role

The weirdness that I was referencing is that they apparently had separate PMs in addition to a mason thread (AM you can confirm or refute this); it made Mel a little worried that she could be converted. I can quote it.

HOWEVER in my opinion today she has been acting entirely consistent with how she has been acting all game. Hence I do not think she was converted.

[WildZoo]

You will be two days away from lylo. It's time to start planning now. I'll even stop being bitter and help with that. I won't be stopping any kills anymore.

I never thought you were bitter. Just salty 😉
But if you want to talk through a plan post-lynching you, I'm all ears. Not like I haven't been wrong before.

[SportPonies]

Pippy, give me an answer.

Edit: I see what you were typing now. Still want an answer though

[WildZoo]

You straight up said Mel would be your candidate today.

Well yeah but he's dead

[WildZoo]

And like...the fact that he's dead is why I'm voting for you

[Animal Midwife]

This is true.

[PippyPony]

Pippy, give me an answer.

Yeah and I told you to hang onto that thought for a second while we see who responds 😛

Although congrats, I think you just pushed yourself further village in my mind

[PippyPony]

This is true.

So you can see why there is concern there, right? The role is supposed to be 100% village but there is usually a single shared PM to assure that is the case.

[SportPonies]

Yeah and I told you to hang onto that thought for a second while we see who responds 😛

Well it doesn't look like anyone is about to respond sooooo... explanation??

[PippyPony]

And like...the fact that he's dead is why I'm voting for you

It has not escaped my notice that you are pushing on this awful hard though, despite knowing her role and seeing how she has behaved today

[Animal Midwife]

I never thought you were bitter. Just salty 😉

I must not be salty enough. I know salt reduces bitterness.

Teep and allie are never clear.

[Animal Midwife]

My last mason game had separate PMs as well. I didn't know that wasn't the norm.

[WildZoo]

Yes, I'm pushing awful hard on what I think is a big inconsistency.

[Animal Midwife]

Yes, I'm pushing awful hard on what I think is a big inconsistency.

Care to state what that is?

[PippyPony]

Well it doesn't look like anyone is about to respond sooooo... explanation??

Yeah ok, it's blown now and probably wouldn't have worked anyway. I honestly forgot you were still alive for a hot second lol

I was kinda half-heartedly trying to get someone to admit to having received a notification. Which I'm sure is why you are all upset with me right now.

[WildZoo]

Care to state what that is?

I already have. Your role should have been protecting mel. The mechanism that you say prevented that does not appear to have existed until last night.

[Animal Midwife]

You must really think I'm ballsy.

[PippyPony]

I already have. Your role should have been protecting mel. The mechanism that you say prevented that does not appear to have existed until last night.

But there is a potential inconsistency in this.

I mean, I could be wrong.

You said you think there is one wolf left?

[Animal Midwife]

I already have. Your role should have been protecting mel. The mechanism that you say prevented that does not appear to have existed until last night.

Pippy was quick to believe I meant the block despite Jil being dead. Why wouldn't I just keep going with that?

To lay this out, to anyone that missed it, VMH admitted to looking into me at some point. She also said she doesn't know if anyone gets notified when she did.

Pip said she knows what happens when VMH seers someone... but she can't. I received no notification after being looked into.

I see no benefit to getting someone to admit they got a message, unless you're a wolf. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

Your straight up lie makes no sense. I'm not about to move my vote.

[WildZoo]

But there is a potential inconsistency in this.

You said you think there is one wolf left?

I think so, based on how I would have balanced the game from a numbers perspective

Jfc that is my point.

[WildZoo]

Pippy was quick to believe I meant the block despite Jil being dead. Why wouldn't I just keep going with that?

Maybe because the village blocker is dead? And so is the wolf blocker? So there would have been no source for a block either.

[PippyPony]

Ok.

[Animal Midwife]

Maybe because the village blocker is dead? And so is the wolf blocker? So there would have been no source for a block either.

But she still believed me.

[PippyPony]

Dubz, how would a redirect work in the order of operations?

[WildZoo]

Dubz, how would a redirect work in the order of operations?

Typically redirects are first, before any other actions. Though it depends a little bit on mod preference whether redirectors can be blocked or blocks can be redirected.

I am trying to figure out where you're going with this but my brain is full of toxins so I guess I'll just go along for the ride.

[WildZoo]

Your point?

So to clarify, because you are missing it:
I got seered N1 by vmh
I was not notified
I purposefully did not tell her whether or not I was notified, since she didn't know
I was trying a crappy tactic to get a wolf to try to clear themselves to admitting to receiving a message that I know for a fact would not exist.

Think for a hot second about whether a villager or a wolf would try to pull something like that, mmk

How do you think the protection was overcome?
