My feeling is that the EON extra kill was to balance all the villager abilities/items that seem capable of killing wolves or blocking kills.

Come to think of it, I was in a wolf pack with genny that was a pretty basic open setup (and fun!) that included an alternating night wolf power of some sort to counterbalance village abilities in some way. Unless I'm confused and on crack.

This definitely makes sense, the issue is where have those extra kills been hiding? Lol

Coffee is right, in that game it was just blocker, seer, and kill avoidance.

But in more complex games, yeah, lots of counterbalancing village abilities with wolf abilities or vice versa (that's a lot of what goes into my game design...a foil for every role). And it makes sense here to have those extra kills in the design, I was saying in PM to the hydra earlier that either wolf numbers are boosted here (looks like they might be now) or the remaining wolves must have better abilities. Not surprised to see extra kill ability, just surprised to see a lack of extra kills since coffee could only save one person.

But I also don't remember what happened on even vs odd nights and I'm too lazy to look right now.

There's a bizarre correlation between me signing up for a game and my work becoming OBSCENELY busy. It hasn't failed yet so I'm going to wait until it's not crazy busy summer months before playing some more lol.

End Night 7

Mr. Kay and Watch really wanted to play Mario Kart. Almost manically, she selected the stage for today's festivities. The decision was met by excitement for some and apprehension for others. The dead drop-offs and crazy roads certainly would be dangerous for the players.

Players were air-lifted to the scene and dropped off in groups. Some gossiping went around that one of the player's attitudes seemed to change during the day yesterday. No one really knew what to make of that, so onto the battle they went!

Mario took the lead, familiar with the territory. He showed everyone the floating platforms, the twists in the road... and then went out onto his prized track, Rainbow Road. He walked out into the center and pointed out the galaxies above, telling stories about all the races he'd won on the track.

With his eyes closed and a peaceful expression on his face, Mario didn't notice a rogue cart flying down the track. The others yelled his name, but he opened his eyes too late and had only just a moment to see the person behind the wheel. The cart launched him. Unfortunately, Lakitu was nowhere in sight to come and retrieve him before falling too far.

End Night 6

Everyone slept in a little bit today, but soon they were back on their way. This morning, parkas were very important because some fool with a controller decided to place everyone on Summit.

Some got a little tired waiting for others to finish dressing, so the group trickled out a handful at a time, and no one really noticed if there was anyone missing. Which really, is unfortunate, isn't it?

One of the characters echoed just that sentiment when they got to the stage. "With all the murder going around, you'd think someone would be more careful and check to see if anyone died... gosh."

Just as they said that, everything seemed to tilt under the players' feet. Why were they sliding? Silenced and scrambling, everyone soon realized that this would be a long day.

...Good thing some players seem to be inexplicable with their move usage.

End Day 7 (lynch title was wrong because I still can't count Jesus Christ)

It was cold. Disgruntled and annoyed at the setting, our players were eager to kill someone and get off of this godforsaken mountain. The target was obvious: @DVMDream. With promises that they could leave earlier if they decided early, everyone seemed pretty happy with the decision... until halfway through the day.

One person whispered doubt... and that doubt spread exponentially, until everyone was pulling out their waffle irons. Mr. Kay and Watch rubbed her(?) (his? axolotl?) face in disappointment that no one else besides Peach had realized frying pans are obviously far superior to waffle irons.

It came down to someone taking it upon themselves to just shove an angel into the water beneath them. With wet wings in the frigid water, he was unable to recover from such a rude action. Our heroes had lost their godly messenger.

I don't think it's that weird. With the focus potentially shifting towards converts soon, and previous conversations about one of the rezzes potentially coming back as a wolf, I'm not all surprised that one of the rezzes was killed to maybe throw even more suspicion on the other one.

I don't think it's that weird. With the focus potentially shifting towards converts soon, and previous conversations about one of the rezzes potentially coming back as a wolf, I'm not all surprised that one of the rezzes was killed to maybe throw even more suspicion on the other one.

A kill choice for confusion rather than more direct strategy (which would have been to kill genny), since that choice leads to all kinds of WIFOM on whether that was intentionally throwing more shade on cray, or trying to make it look like the rezzes were village, or knowing we would think it was throwing shade and be less likely to pursue cray because of it.
So not weird like "wow why would wolves ever do that" but weird like "risky move when you have a living tracker"
