No, my statement had nothing to do with my own survival. I wasn't on your list.
You weren't on my list because I've been talking about lynching you, and I'm assuming if I died at some point soon, people would read back and see that. I was bringing up a couple other people as examples who a bunch of newer players seem to be putting as village or as safe because they don't know them, and that just freaks me out a little bit for reasons that should be obvious.

I am totally harmless. 🙂

(In this game at least).

I just think "lynch these people if I'm dead" is a little alarmist

But I don't agree with lynching strong players just because they're strong players. Sure, be on guard, because they could be wolves, but you're also kind of shooting yourself in the foot if you're lynching your strongest villagers before endgame. Feels like doing the wolves' jobs for them.
And this is basically all I was advocating for, because if you think people would lynch blindly off of my sleepy drunkish ravings, then you have a much better opinion of my level of influence than I do. Hell, I rarely actually push for lynches on certain players and don't typically successfully lynch any of you guys ever, even when I want to, so can't even say I follow my own advice 😛

That may be what you intended, but what you said was "don't let them live" not "don't get complacent"

Yeah ok well I had 4 glasses of wine and am a small person, so here we are
Are you trying to give @Animal Midwife a heart attack??

Also, this is like flea/tick prevention: you say "use it every month, all year! it's very important for safety!" and people will generally hear that as "ehhhh ok, so I'll use it 8 months and call it good"

Welcome to Whose Werewolf Is It Anyway?, the game where everyone's a wolf and the likes don't matter (much like wedding rings at a strip club)!

Sorry guys. I know you're not interested in my IRL excuses. After tomorrow I should be a lot less busy and able to post more. Me not voting has nothing to do with my role.

Curious to know what your own reasons are?
I don't have time to analyze the cluster of the ending of the lynch and the only other post that stands out to me is the one where WZ quoted my post about assuming night kills. Idk it felt like she was twisting my words around or trying to throw shade my way and I'm not about it lol

I wasn't doing either of those things...I was pointing out that you were concerned about a stance that no one had (as far as I saw) actually taken. You said "let's not assume it was a no kill night." I said "No one is assuming it was a no kill night." How is that twisting your words or throwing shade?

Not only did I clarify it, I tagged you in a post as an example to why I stated what I did.

You are free to go to your notifications and find "DVMDream tagged you in a post", click it and read.

Yes, you said that they are hard to read because knowing your game play is sketchy from one of them (RL) and normal from the other (Kara) so you don't know who's voice is speaking. You also said that makes you nervous and it sounded like that's why you voted for the hydra. I already said I don't think hydras are, particularly one where one person is a total noob, are as hard to read as you're making out (I've had no problem with it in the games I've watched and played). So yea, I took your vote as "I'm scared/nervous of the hydra and don't have a better vote, so that's where I'm voting." Maybe I'm interpreting it wrong but that's how it came off to me.

At the same time you didn't seem to realize early on that the recent hydras only have one person posting, then your explanation was about how when it's RL posting you don't know how to interpret it becuase it could be RL or Kara's idea. So your example didn't match up with your initial statement about why hydras made you nervous/were hard to read. Maybe that's not how you meant it to be interpreted, but that's what I saw.

I never said hydras made me nervous. Ever. Quit putting words in my mouth.

It was ****ing day 1, I knew I wasn't going to get on the following day because of work so picked a person that will be hard to evaluate. I don't give a **** if you agree or not, but it isn't an untrue statement that two people playing as one is harder to interpret than one person playing alone.

I also didn't realize that it is some giant mental leap apparently, that it doesn't matter if one or both are posting...it is still two playing as one, is it not? Or is this a difficult concept for you to grasp that I need to go get the crayons out to explain it?

Yeah this is what I get when I try to quickly skim 500+ posts on my phone. I had interpreted KC's posts incorrectly I guess. She said something like "because a no kill night happened" and I didn't realize she went on to say "or at least a no wolf kill". So just ignore me.

I normally don't care about being silenced, but the one day I was planning to word vomit all over thread? Dick move.

Since I left for work there is another 7 pages....Not sure how tf I'm going to stay caught up.

@Animal Midwife I voted Stagg because of comments I made in my reads. They were the one that kept sticking out post after post. I at this point am leaning voting that way again tomorrow, though after her convenient vanishing act I'm strongly debating switching to Ny.

So you couldn't communicate through likes?

Okay, was just curious because, if I was understanding the sectioning properly, you appear to only talk about him on Day 1.

No likes and no posts in thread. PM only. Or so the mods told me when I asked.

Mentioned in D1, kept noticing but didn't bother adding more lines about him since I already had a page and a half written on my Word document and I was getting tired of trying to catch up lol.

I never said you said that, that's just how I interpreted it. Do I need to spell it out every time I'm reading between the lines? There are certain individual players I find harder to read than the hydras I've seen. Is that so hard for you to to grasp? Why are you so defensive about my interpretations? You're coming across as unnecessarily aggressive right now...

Oh look @DVMDream , another hydra.
Not exactly. Mentoring works a little differently. Still will have influence (which is why I said we should know about it), but a mentor should be influencing their mentee less than a co-player.

Reading between the lines is fine, until you try to twist your interpretation into more than that, which is what you're doing.

You're quite literally the only one who can't understand my reasoning behind the hydra and given that you're a noob, I'm not concerned about it. Everyone else seems to get it just fine.

A compilation of random thoughts:

On reread, coop/Peebs interactions don't read wolf/wolf. I didn't get too much else from ISOing coop's posts...maybe a village point or two for AM and cheezit.
If Elf needed a mentor post-game start...probably doesn't have a wolf pack at her disposal
Paws feels like herself as I mentioned.
I'm ok with coffee for now, nothing too solid, just some things she's said that put her in my village lean category.
And I'll give pip village credit for the rez for now.

I don't bother to evaluate MJ. Leave that to others. Our PMs have not really been game-related so far, that is not unusual.

I'm wary of DVMD because the last time I remember she did a catch up like the one she did today, I'm pretty sure she was a wolf and I put her on my village list for that move. Don't remember which game off the top of my head. I fully acknowledge that may be a selective memory of something that is actually a null tell. So really I'm just keeping an eye there/reminding myself not to clear her for behavior I've seen her emulate as a wolf.

Would love to hear more from ny and allie (I know that might not happen, in ny's case because she is herself, and allie because she's far behind on the thread). Skim and bryn will hopeful contribute more now soon.

Something seemed...off about Glam. Just an impression that I don't have specific backup for yet.

There's smoke in the moose area that i think may indicate a fire. I have to admit I'm curious to see if AM is onto something there.

Everyone else I'm kind of in "meh" territory.

27 players, probably a chaos in there, maybe a neutral...I figure we're looking at 5 wolves total. 4+convert (but I'm not talking about converts yet 😉 )

So if I had to pick a top three I'd go Glam, moose...and probably someone that's been more under the radar.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm sketch

So then why say it? Because I don't think anybody was unlynching her based on her role name...
More sketch

Incorrect use of WIFOM

Reading through, really wish I hadn't been attempting to sleep. Could no one figure out that using literally any ability on Mixy would have sufficed? If someone got back results on her that didn't align with a commuter role, boom, lynch. If they got back results that seemed to fit with her claim, they could very well keep quiet unless it was necessary to reveal, just like a seer would if they seered someone village. It's not that hard.

Which part of my logic were you disagreeing with? I remember you responding to one of my posts, and the logic you assumed I was using wasn't actually an argument I had made.

I do typically agree with this, just because it's better play in my opinion. But villagers who feel they don't have other options and are pressed for time tend to jump to role reveal. Especially on d1.

Can we stop lynching people because we disagree with their playstyle please? Kind of hypocritical coming from you, cray.

Don't extrapolate your meta to other people's. Villagers run the village all the time. Sometimes they run it right into the ground, but run it they do.

This is the second day that I'm awfully curious about timelines on things

You posted this last night, casting shade first and foremost at jboo, but never went to mention her again today that I say, except saying that jboo had called you aggressive.

You also quote Cray, who didn't post at all between last night and just before lynch close, but are not outwardly calling her out for being sketchy.

Somehow, without anything more to go off of from Cray, you made the decision that she was your top choice after PBC, and not jboo - even though jboo's posts were rather fluffy.

But again, the timeline - Cray had just come into the lead out of a 3 way tie when you decided to switch your vote to her. To me, this looks like pushing the lynch vote away from a wolf so that they can be further safe.

Omg, great timing 😛

What do you think of jboo, while on the topic?

How are you able to recall this when I can't even recall the last game I played and most definitely couldn't tell you if I was wolf or village.

I do have ****ty long-term memory though, but seriously, I have done the "catch up word vomit on thread" multiple times, definitely as village, probably as wolf as I try not to change things up much.

I am apparently a master of interesting timing

The only reason I cast shade at jboo first was because I quoted her posts first. Honestly by the time it got around to where I decided I wanted to change my vote, so much had happened I didn't even remember that I had found anything sketch in jboo's posts previously. Blame the lack of sleep I guess. But I did remember feeling weird about some things cray had said, and I felt better about the other people on her lynch than I did about the people on jboo's.

Fluffy posts don't bother me, by the way. I look at the posts that have content. If they don't exist, and it's someone who is like "Ah I'm too busy to actually play!" but is posting fluff all the time, then sure. But otherwise...who am I to call someone out for being fluffy? Pretty sure half my posts are fluff.

Probably because it scarred me tbh. That's why I said it might be a selective memory. If it's a null tell that's fine - like I said it's just a reminder to not clear you for it.

It scarred you but you don't even know for sure I was a wolf... 😵

You either remember or you don't.

I am fine with the suspicion but not if it is a wishy-washy, "I think she was wolf when she did this but I'm not actually sure so that is going to 'not clear' her"... ignoring the fact that no one should be cleared based on posting alone.

Does the way that Cray flipped influence your feelings on the people on her lynch?

No, I know you were a wolf when you did it. I can't remember which game it was. I remember clearing you for it because it seemed like a lot of effort for a wolf to go to and because I had agreed with the things you were saying, putting you at the bottom of my list, and being scarred later when you ended up being the wolf on my village list (a concept I had been nervous about).

I remember that vividly. What I don't remember is if you had done the same thing in other games as a villager.

I always word-vomit on catch-up, ever since everyone wanted thorough analysis on thread and games started becoming more "evaluate each and every tiny detail of what people say" but really, best to go look at previous games to see that.

In which case it's a null tell and like I said, just a reminder not to let it influence my read of you.

But, hey, I am also fine going back to hiding in the shadows instead of posting if you would like. I can play the quiet game as well. I like that game, much less of a time commitment for me.

I agree on the null tell but still find some of this odd. You did start off with stating you were "pretty sure I was a wolf" then changed to "nah, I know you were a wolf" and now just taking my word on how I catch up in WW?

Where did the old WW WildZoo disappear to?

I like you posting. But you said yourself you've done it as a villager and as a wolf. So I don't understand what the issue is.
