You’re claiming to be blocked and think Jays is a wolf who blocked you. Initially, you thought because you targeted Jays, you got preventively blocked by Jays’s ability. But we see that’s not the case with Santy who acted on Jays in N1 and was fine. So that’d mean you think Jays is an active blocker who targeted you but no one else on thread had a blocking notification from what I read.I'm not going to say I'm not playing Tetris with mechanics. I don't understand what's going on and a lot of this game hasn't made any sense to me.
But I smell a wolf.
I also posited an item. You’re claiming to be blocked and think Jays is a wolf who blocked you. Initially, you thought because you targeted Jays, you got preventively blocked by Jays’s ability. Ok. Let’s assume you were blocked, whether by Jays ability or an item or by some mechanism. Is there a reason why you think this action on you is wolfy as opposed to a villager using it on you because they think you’re a wolf?I also posited an item.
Again, I don't propose to understand the mechanics. I know what happened to me though. I don't know how or why. I'm just tinfoiling out loud.
Sooo whatcha doing with those responses, surveymonkey.com?

Huh, wonder what happens in a 3-way tie for mayor![]()
17/19 voting
Missing: @lucy. and @NateTheLesser
Vote closes today, 3/15, at 10pm CDT (~3.5 hours).
Wait you think wolves engaged in theater during the mayoral vote? Because Jays just asked a question to Staggs? Not out of the realm of theatre.
We love and support all robots here.I’m not a robot i promise. Although i’ll just check my computer to make sure it’s ok
Because I would've expected a villager to claim by now.Ok. Let’s assume you were blocked, whether by Jays ability or an item or by some mechanism. Is there a reason why you think this action on you is wolfy as opposed to a villager using it on you because they think you’re a wolf?
Right, and I chose you, who Lawpy has been solid as a rock on, as opposed to miranda who has been subject to varying degrees of sus. That makes 100% total sense. My impression of PSV today is that she chose a course (go after me) and is doing everything she can to promote that course. That's to say: it doesn't feel like I am being suspected, it feels like someone chose me as a target and is making any argument available to support doing so. That doesn't resemble a town mindset, especially in LyLo.
You entered the day with little credit to work with. If you're mafia you have to try something. Status quo would be a losing prospect.Right, and I chose you, who Lawpy has been solid as a rock on, as opposed to miranda who has been subject to varying degrees of sus. That makes 100% total sense.
Okay, and I should go for someone Lawpy has repeatedly stated he won't vote for rather than the LHF noob because... status quo? Nah.You entered the day with little credit to work with. If you're mafia you have to try something. Status quo would be a losing prospect.
Whatever you think will garner town reads.Okay, and I should go for someone Lawpy has repeatedly stated he won't vote for rather than the LHF noob because... status quo? Nah.
Because that's going super well for me.Whatever you think will garner town reads.
I definitely don’t think mirandas is a low hanging fruit by any means. If she’s a wolf, i’ll be completely fooled. If Jays is a wolf, i think i’m lost and trapped in a different dimension.Okay, and I should go for someone Lawpy has repeatedly stated he won't vote for rather than the LHF noob because... status quo? Nah.
Yeah. I'm trying to bust you out and you won't take my hand.If Jays is a wolf, i think i’m lost and trapped in a different dimension.
Ok i think the mechanics is frying my brain so is there something non-mechanical that shows Jays being wolfy?Yeah. I'm trying to bust you out and you won't take my hand.
This postOne thing I note is that when Stagg mentions PSV in this game, it's nearly always alongside someone else.
There are some others I left out contained within larger posts (e.g., vote analysis or the large Barky ISOs). In this sense PSV is sort of being maneuvered within conversations as a piece of an argument rather than a standalone player that needs resolved. I'll need to determine if there are posts contrary to this trend that don't come up in a name search.
HmmNight 2
We have to do something, the low voice said. We have a lot of ground to make up. They found themselves pacing in a back room, trying to decide what the best strategy was. They needed to take over this town and they were running out of time to do so.
"There's always the iridium," came the gravelly voice. "But it comes at such a price. Is it worth it?"
Brows furrowed. They had left the iridium alone, keeping it for emergencies. Truthfully, they hadn't really thought about it much - it just seemed like too much of a risk. But now, they gingerly placed it on the table, studying it.
Did they want to pursue it? What would it cost?
Everything.
Their eyes locked and they both gave a small nod. They knew what they had to do.
HmmShe waited to open the door until hearing the roosters crow in the distance, marking the end of the night officially. She sighed in relief, swinging it open, and stepping on the trap that had been laid, waiting for her to get home and ready to detonate at any moment.
The secret of the walnuts went with her to the grave.

HmmHe hadn't had many opportunities for trickery yet. He enjoyed a good game of chess and hadn't really found anyone to play with yet, although he was looking. His latest prank amused him, but he didn't know yet if it had worked or not. He whistled quietly to himself, but paused when the sounds of the birds drowned him out. That was so unusual. Of course, there were birds here and there, but they weren't usually this loud.
What did it mean?
The idyllic island was disrupted by a horrifying scream and a swirl of feathers. They found him in the morning, still and cold on the ground, never to be the 5D grandmaster again.

HmmBefore they could bundle him onto the boat to return to Stardew Valley, there was a swirl of feathers. There was no sign of Lewis. A massive flock of crows was speeding away toward the sunset, cawing in panic.
Do you know what they call a group of crows?
A murder.

Staggs likely killed Clems N3He'd finally decided it was time to give his new toy a spin and dusted it off. He had waited for the perfect opportunity and decided this was it. But in the chaos of the bird bonanza that descended on the town, something happened. He was found the next morning, surrounded by feathers and droppings, with a scream permanently etched into his facial features.

Staggs likely killed WZ N4A chorus of caws answered her scream, and horror crossed her face as an enormous flock of crows exploded out of the trees ahead, beelining for her. She felt a sense of peace wrapping around her shoulders, rather than panic, though. She wanted this. She had hoped for this for days. Finally, she was meeting her end.
The scaffolding around her unfinished barn was all that remained.

HmmUnbeknownst to her, the rubble of someone's destruction had yielded another commitment: to smash that pretty purple hair into oblivion.
She was playing one of her favorites on her flute and didn't hear the whistle of the board, nor the thud of her body hitting the ground. It was quick, so quick it was hardly noticeable, and left her to B♭ in the ground ... for good.

HmmThe figure standing by the side of the road gave off a vibe that reminded Kent of his days in the war. He gave a tug on the string to encourage the ducks to waddle faster, but those webbed feet can only go so fast.

In the midst of the struggle that followed, he couldn't help but think to himself that he had predicted this. All of those late hours sitting up at night hadn't been idle paranoia. If only he had kept training on his self defense maneuvers... but it was too late now.
They found him the next morning, lying on the road from the store to his house. His ducks, loyal to the end, were milling around him, quacking in concern. The string lay broken in the dirt.
It seemed like the start of an eerie nursery rhyme.
The warm of the sun rising over the valley
Returns village to work, looking back at the tally
They farm and they garden, at night the wolves sing
But beware and make haste; no more ducks on a string.

HmmHe lay awake late into the night, thinking about his next experiment. Something just didn't make sense to him, and he had tested a few hypotheses, but they kept failing. What was he missing? The tormented thoughts prevented the sweet release of sleep, and he found himself getting up to pace anxiously during the night, muttering to himself.
He didn't hear the footsteps coming up behind him. No one murmured any reassuring words. But suddenly, a cloth was over his face, and he felt the world slipping away.
The hazy twilight he fell into sounded like the song of mermaids, and he could almost hear the crash of waves upon the rocks. It felt like home. It sounded like they were giving him a royal reception... as if he were their Queeb.
It was time to go home.

This looks like the wolves took revenge for vissy’s death by daykilling AMSuddenly, a loud "thwack" is heard.
She loved all things purple. Her hair was purple, her favorite stone was purple amethyst, and one of her favorite treats was blackberry cobbler, especially if she could have it with some vanilla ice cream. Not just regular vanilla ice cream - the extra sweetness of getting it for free on the best day of the year.
Abigail enjoyed living a little dangerously. One of her favorite places to linger was in the mines, playing her flute. No one knew if she did this trying to lure monsters to her or if she was just attracted to the unique acoustics of playing the flute in a cave with the background of things that wanted to kill her. She was an odd duck, sometimes, that Abigail, even if she didn't have any ducks of her own. But rest assured that if she did, her ducks would be on a string.
She had a wry sense of humor and sometimes liked to make jokes that seemed particularly lewd, like when she'd tell a guy that he really knew his way around a joystick, pausing to add "I guess that makes sense," or would answer prompts in games with things like "carnal union of the flesh." But this was no joking matter to her.
She'd thought long and hard about her choice before making it, talking to herself in the wee hours of the night. But deep in her heart, she knew she believed in it, and she committed to that decision.
Unbeknownst to her, the rubble of someone's destruction had yielded another commitment: to smash that pretty purple hair into oblivion.

It’s something I have seen before in similar forms from mafia in the past, and I think it can have various motivations depending on the post (tying a teammate wrongly to town, distancing with care by dispersing within a list of names, or generally avoiding the need to take the concrete individual stance when the game is on edge). This post
This post in particular has a lot of foreshadowing power. It seems like Stagg is setting up alley to look silly in the event of a PSV flip, which would imply a red PSV flip (those two were leading wagons in that moment). Why do we need to wait until PSV flips for you to suggest who would be in her pack?
What are your thoughts on claiming at this point?Wednesday is a heavy teaching load for me, so I will have to be in and out when I can find a moment. I’ll be checking in and thinking about the game all day anyway though.
Do you mean with respect to PSV's claim? What are your thoughts on claiming at this point?
Yes but i’m feeling conflicted because even following strictly on the mechanical route and assuming PSV/pshelty’s statements are true, it doesn’t add up and it doesn’t rule out her being a wolf. So i’m lost hereDo you mean with respect to PSV's claim?
