Clem dying makes no goddamn sense

- Barks already said she wasn't a protector and was telegraphing JOAT. I could see a scenario where wolves thought she might be able to protect again maybe so made a kill outside of the blocc? I don't think the kill makes much sense if she's a wolf. She literally could claim JOAT with 1x use of each ability (which she has demonstrated) and so not get heat for not protecting one of the clears.

- alley bodyguarded me n2 which was said on thread. Most games that's not an action that can be used on the same player consecutively. I could see avoiding killing Jay in case she bodyguarded him, and they don't necessarily want alley to die since she's misyeet bait if she's village. But I don't understand not killing me in that scenario. But if she's a wolf, I still don't get it, unless the above scenario came into play where they thought Barks might still have a protection up her sleeve.

Like what am I missing here? Are my reads that far off that wolves are leaving me alive and killing people they could still get misyeeted instead?

I suppose either could be a wolf and the goal was to get through last night and then get the non-wolf one misyeeted so they can kill more freely tonight.

If they're both village, wolves could have targeted one last night, killed them, and then the other would be default misyeet today based on how the POE was shaping up. Then it's open season for killing tonight. With the way things happened now, they can only misyeet one today, and then the other could (from wolf mindset of not knowing what v!Barks has up her sleeve) mess with their ability to kill a clear tonight.

Whereas it makes sense if they're v/w to not kill the village one, because that would set up the wolf one for automatic yeet today.

Like I said I'm heavily sleep deprived and heavily caffeinated so tell me if this makes no sense lol

I need some time for at least a partial reset. I want to view the game with fresh eyes and determine if the mechanical miscellany is beneficial or detrimental to the broader hunting effort. I’ve seen many examples of both in my role madness experiences.
