That wasn't a soft. It was the hardest claim possible. I didn't know where I wanted to go after the reveal because my earlier concerns weren't resolved by that.

Sorry about my bad terminology again. I meant in terms of yes she made a hard claim, but soft as in it is not confirmed yet

The boys were feeling unsettled about what had happened at the arcade.

And then finding Mike’s sister dead? What the heck!

They decided going along with their Halloween costumes and going trick or treating may be a way to regain some normalcy.

They headed to Loch Nora, hoping for some full sized candy bars. No one was excited for the stupid 3 Musketeers bars aside from Dustin.

Suddenly, a scuffle broke out amongst some older kids. One of the party found himself dragged into the fray.

An ear-piercing scream rang out.

Dead is @alissa14 who was Lucas Sinclair, the party’s paladin and voice of reason, a vanilla villager.

Elsewhere in the woods, a familiar figure was poking at some peas from a microwaveable dinner. Could it be….?

It is now Night 2. Cycle will close when actions have been submitted.

I wanted to save that for as late in the game as possible, but the idea of dying first and not preventing a death seemed less than stellar.

I apologize if you had a good PR lined up to go, I've been informed that 1-shot abilities will not be consumed, you can use them again next night.

I re-checked, and Zenge was just a Vanilla Seer, meaning he checks if people have PRs, right? That's not crazy strong. My ability was good but there are obviously limits on how frequently I can stop the night cycle. And a protector is good, but Barks still needs to pick the right person to protect.

All PRs that you have control over are strong when there's only nine players.

A vanilla seer catches people in lies. A protector stops nightkills. A cancel stops nightkills. All of these cripple wolves coming from villagers. So to compensate for their numbers, they must be jacked.

I didn’t see Barks’ reveal until longggggg after vote close, I just saw it while I was catching up. I wasn’t in wolf chat with AM chatting it up, I was getting yelled at IRL.

Yes, I know the game isn’t mountainous, so I don’t understand your confusion. Role madness =/= everyone having a PR in my mind. More like most people have a PR or almost everyone. And I think it’s a spectrum between all vanilla and everyone having a PR. I assumed this game would be closer to the role madness side of the spectrum based on the source material.

Yes, I know the game isn’t mountainous, so I don’t understand your confusion. Role madness =/= everyone having a PR in my mind. More like most people have a PR or almost everyone. And I think it’s a spectrum between all vanilla and everyone having a PR. I assumed this game would be closer to the role madness side of the spectrum based on the source material.

Role madness means everyone has a PR. It's the end extreme like mountainous is.

There's a threshold that crosses from basic into a power hungry game. >33% is there. This means ability claims alone, even if true, are much weaker.
