As Richard learns of the representatives letting themselves be talked out of further investigating Jagang, he was livid. Sheep! All of them! If only he had been able to attend the meeting, things may have gone differently.

Wizard's Rule #1: People are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want it to be true; or they're afraid it to be true.

Nothing could explain their actions better. Clearly it was easier to go along believing nothing was happening, that we were in a time of peace than to admit that Jagang posed a threat. A very dangerous threat.

I will deal with this, thought Richard. He had already set up a meeting with Jagang.

It was not without risk, but he knew that Jagang would want to make a spectacle of his death. He wouldn't die today.

As he enters the camp, he sees the kinds of men employed under the Imperial Order. Brutes, barbarians, savages. Thousands among thousands of tents and cookfires were spread across the valley. The size of the army was unimaginable.

As he makes his way to the center of the camp flanked with men of the First File, he sees the dirty, miserable conditions that these men live in. Fights, yelling, clatter of steel and screams of women are heard throughout the camp. It didn't matter how many men were lost, there were plenty to replace them in the Old World. The Imperial Order gave no value to individual life.

Reaching the large Leadership tent, he ducks inside passing many guards on the way in. The men of the First File waiting outside, though they were not thrilled.

There stands Jagang. With completely black eyes, he turns to look at Richard. He is short in stature and bare-chested, wearing a fur-lined vest and trousers. Gold adorned his neck fingers and head. Muscles rippled from beneath his vest. He wore a condescending smile. His hate defined him.

"Welcome" say Jagang. "Take a seat."

Richard sits in one of two leather-backed chairs beside a wooden table.

"I've come to extend a warning" Richard says grimly. "Retreat back into the Old World and the penalties will be less severe." In his mind, Jagang had already committed himself to this fight with the crimes committed and innocent lives taken. Richard wouldn't stop until he saw this man dead. But now was not the time to state it.

Jagang laughed.

"What makes you think there's anything you can do? D'Hara and the rest of the New World will fall unless they bow to the Order. Even united, you stand little chance.

It will be a new dawn for mankind, the dawn of the age of man without magic to taint men's souls. All men will rejoice to be part of the glory that is the cause of the Order. In that new world of man, all men will be equal. All men can dedicate themselves in service to their fellow man, as is the will of the Creator."

"All men have the right to choose freedom. To live their lives for themselves." says Richard as he gets up from the table. "I wanted to give you a chance before the Order is ground into the dust."

Jagang, still seated, smiled. His inky black eyes fixed on Richard. Shapes moved within his eyes, a storm brewing within him.

In an instant, one of the royal guards launched in a mad rage towards Richard. He nimbly stepped out of the way and slammed his head into a chest nearby. Though he was without his sword, he wasn't helpless. He knew it was Jagang that controlled the man for he was a Dream Walker, a deadly weapon created from a man first seen thousands of years ago. How one existed today, he didn't know.

Richard turns to leave without a backwards glance.

"You don't have much time." Jagang laughs.

As he makes his way outside of the massive camp, men of the First File falling in on each side, his only thoughts are how to get rid of this demon. Dear spirits, how can it be done?

No one has died.

It is now Night 6. Night Deadline 10 PM EST. (I get to sleep in tomorrow! 😀)

Oh-THAT I love cats girl. No, sadly not me. Thought you were talking about someone (can't remember who) who did a voice over brag with a cat.

So, I'm going to be the first one to say it...

Oh, just a fyi since I can't PM you, I picked a new target DVMD. And thanks to the item I was given last night, they won't even know what hit them 😀

As we can be fairly sure Jojo is a wolf now, I might as well share all I shared with Jojo.

1) I am Shota, a sorceress (and a villager). I can communicate with people through their dreams, so I may send you a message.
2) I told Jojo I was going to send a message to Devyn to try to see if she was a wolf (2 nights ago, but blocked myself so it went last night). The details are unimportant, as if Devyn was a wolf, Jojo would have warned her. I accuse her of being a wolf and then try to get her to play along. What I find interesting is that Devyn ignored the message, which is exactly what I would have expected a wolf to do. A villager usually mentions receiving that kind of message. Could just be Devyn's style, or she could have told DVMD about it, but if I were a seer, I would look into Devyn.

Unrelated:
Now that we know Jojo is presumably unlynch-able, WTF is back in the not necessarily a villager pile. Wily wolves would use that ability to give WTF cred, knowing there is no harm to jojo. I would say 60/40 against, but WTF knows how to play the game.

But shota can't dream cast... Something is fishy here...

Didn't seem to bother you when you were trying to lead me on.

I just stared watching Fargo. I can't help but think of JDH and LIS when I watch that show. It is weird, but even weirder it is true.

I agree on WTF.

2. Devyn told me all about it. I knew it came from you. We together came with three conclusions: 1. You were a wolf trying some odd tactic. 2. You were a villager trying to scare a wolf into something to see if they would play along. 3. You are a chaos character with how much you were claiming your role could do in that dream.

I knew it came from you, well, because it was obvious, for reasons.

I don't think devyn is a wolf for a number of reasons. I also think you were just being an over-zealous villager spouting off a bunch of false facts about your role to see if you could catch a wolf.

The only pause I have is that I told you that I trusted devyn. You asked, I answered. So why did you waste your time sending the rather obviously filled with lies dream to her, instead of trying someone else who neither of us knew anything about? I think you wasted a possible opportunity there, although I highly doubt anyone would have fallen for that. You need to try smaller lies next time, because it was very obvious you were way over the top.

Devyn and I agreed it was best to just ignore it because I figured you more for a villager than the other two options and I trust devyn is a villager as well.

Wait, you cleared devyn and not dyachei?

I killed the wrong person 🙁

The fact that she talked to you is good enough for me for now.
As for why I tried that on Devyn, I will hold off on that for now... as Jojo is confused which is good.

Since Jojo knows who I am, all the wolves do, and it doesn't need to be kept secret anymore. I'm going to reveal so I can get what I need.

I'm Richard Rahl. Get me the sword of truth and I can hopefully cut off that wolfy head.

:meh:I have a crazy theory that I'm going to share with the only person I trust in this game. If it turns out to be true, I'm going to have a stroke. But if it is, I must say, well played jojo, well played.:meh:

With the news of the Imperial order spreading throughout the lands, many had trouble sleeping. Not among them was Chillbo. After losing her father days before, she had been overcome with sadness. Her adoptive mother did her best to comfort her, but there was little she could do. Even her spice soup wasn't enough to lift Chillbo's spirits.

She was in her bed, where she was often found, in a deep sleep. Even as a knife was brought down on her from above, she was only awake for a brief instant before fading away.

Dead is Chillbo, Rachel, whose adoptive father Chase had always been there to look out for her.

It is now Day 7. Lynch Deadline 7 PM EST. Please be advised that group movement has occurred.
