Well that was more than enjoyable to read through. Too bad cyndia took down the drunk wolf brag though, I am sure that would have been interdasting. And pssshhhhh, I gave it out to all the ones that gave me a chuckle, which has been more than enough this game. Too bad I missed this, truly entertaining imo.

A busy night tonight. We will first take a look at the events within the Wilds.

Devyn exits the spirit house at dusk. After a long day within its walls, she's happy to be outside. She returns to her simple hut to build a fire for dinner. As she is placing the firewood, a dark figure enters her house. Unaware of its presence, she returns inside to retrieve the meat for the fire. A scream is heard throughout the camp. As people come rushing from all over the village, no one sees the figure exit her house. Devyn was found on the floor of her hut, a knife through her heart.

Next we travel to the Old World.

As 98cats moves swiftly through the forest, she keeps a sharp eye on her surroundings, always on the look-out for danger. With the bond to the Lord Rahl severed, she had to find him the old-fashioned way. Luckily she knew the general area in which he would have been headed.

It isn't long before she stumbles upon the gruesome scene. Bodies of Imperial Order soldiers lie strewn across the ground. What appears to be left of Sister Ulicia is also still present. Silent fury builds inside her as she sees Lord Rahl lying in a crumpled heap not far from Sister Ulicia. The sister should be glad her death was quick. She would not have made it so easy.

As she makes her way over to Richard, she hears the sounds of a large number of men approaching. They were likely from the Imperial Order. She hurries to Richard's side. Using her magic as a Mord Sith, she gives him the breath of life.

She turns to meet the approaching men. There appears to be at least 4 dozen. She would be happy to send these miserable souls to the Keeper. She draws her agiels.

As she stands ready, she glances back at Richard. He seems disoriented as he climbs to his feet.

"Cara?"

"RUN." says Cara. "Run now."

Still dazed and confused, he listens to her and takes off into the forest.

Within seconds, the men are upon her. Spinning, she brings down her agiels onto the first two oncoming men, relishing in their screams of pain. However, as she works through the soldiers, she can feel herself tiring, her muscles burning. She pushes on. She has to give Richard the time to get away.

After some time, she realizes she's fighting a losing battle. There are too many. As she slams her agiel into the chest of one of the soldiers, two more spring on her. First a slash to the arm. She doesn't utter a sound. Next to the leg. Then a short sword enters through her back.

She looks down at the metal point protruding from her abdomen and smiles. Blood dripping from her lips. It is the death a Mord Sith dreams of. In battle in service to the Lord Rahl. Her last thoughts are of Richard as she collapses to the ground. Hopefully he got away.

Dead is devyn, Citizen of the Wilds

Also dead is 98cats, Cara Mason, Richard Rahl's most loyal friend and protector.

I mean, I want to see what she has to say.

I have no idea if she is for sure a wolf. I could have been blocked as well. Either way is possible for the results I received.

And if anyone still has seer abilities, look into epivet. Has been awfully under the radar, and nothing at all contributed.
 
Does anyone know anything about locks and keys? I heard some interesting things in the underworld.

I can go with a lynch kaydubs . DVMD, can you tell anything more about MadJack? If my source gave me faulty info, I will give it up - although it seems like it would be a horrible wolf ploy for them to give me info that coul dbe easily disproven. Or has that magic/nonmagic thing not been figured out yet on your end?

I am also suspicious of epivet as well.

I also have reason to believe that maybe MJ's magic might be cut off for today. If that is true, and you all think he is a wolf. Go ahead and try. I just hope I don't die.

Forget about MJ.

There was a misunderstanding....

There is a difference between people who have a magic gift and magical beings.

The confessor is a magical being, she does not have a magic gift.
Apparently you have to be an ultra nerd in this game.
 
Btw, this collar thing is 1- not very original, power stealing collars have been done by everyone from the writers of the X-Men to Robert Jordan, and 2- not going to save anyone. Confession is like a magical lobotomy. Once it's done, it doesn't matter if you take my magic away, my two victims are still zombies.

All I can say is that I have heard there is an item that completely blocks a person's magic for that night and the following day. I wonder if that is why he was seen as magic-less. Anyway, I know he still has his Confessor ability, Escalla confirmed that more or less yesterday.

I did not do what I had originally planned with MJ, as something else was decided to be done that would have been better. I just don't know if it worked. Basically, MJ should not have has magic today. If you want to attempt to lynch him because you think he was converted, I guess you can try. Hopefully his magic really is cut off and I will not die. I am not personally feeling the conversion. But that is just me.
