I hadn’t heard that before but would agree because they couldn’t go into specific details about my individual interview. But I’m glad I went because I got to talk to the different professors!

I don’t think so. At the bottom of the email it says “You are receiving this message because you submitted a TMDSAS application for entry year 2019.”
 
Well yeah, but why are they just now informing everyone? Seems like they sent it out once the decision was made. As it was sent to everyone at same time, from what I'm seeing.

Makes me think we'll hear tomorrow.

Maybe? I thought TMDSAS might have sent it to all medical, dental, and veterinary applicants. Who knows? Although, I hope we hear tomorrow too!
 
Yeah TMDSAS's twitter account says they sent it out to everyone so I don't know if its an indicator on whether or not we will hear tomorrow
 
Notified around noon about acceptance/rejections specifically or in general? Interviews last year were sent out around 5, so I still had some hope left

From what I gathered, interview invites were sent out at any time, but acceptances/rejections/waitlists went out around noon.
 
They sent out interview invites last year at 5pm on a friday (probably so people couldn’t be calling the PPO office all at once) so don’t give up hope yet!
 
I know the waiting is the worst part but try to enjoy your weekend and not stress about it too much!! the decision is already made but calling isn’t going to make them notify y’all any sooner. I know it’s easier said than done!

If you know the decision is already made then do you know around what time they plan to release that info?

In the past it’s been around lunch time, so I’d be looking (or avoiding) your email around 11 am-12 pm on Monday or Tuesday. Remember, it’ll probably come through that weird software programs account that your interview invite likely came through. I don’t know anything for sure, but historically I believe that’s how they’ve done it. I know it’s hard, but try to relax and enjoy your weekend!
 
I hope we hear Monday, since I don’t work that day lmao. What are y’all doing this weekend to distract yourself? I’m thinking of visiting antique/vintage shops, playing video games, and rearranging my room.

I hope so too, I don't want to be on my phone 24/7 Monday and Tuesday at work haha. Awesome! What video games do you play?

I'll be cleaning, throwing my SO a surprise birthday party, then cleaning again, and then will watch shows/read.

Same!! I felt guilty constantly going to my locker and checking my phone today since technically only the doctors are allowed to be on their phones.

Overwatch mainly haha! I’m also currently trying to beat Resident 2 on hardcore with an S+ ranking, because I want the infinite rocket launcher, but that’s not working out well for me lol.

I’ve OCD’ed cleaned my room and now gonna try to study for physical chemistry and genetics lab!!!!! Not the best distraction ... :yuck: I wish GOT would start already!
 
They told us yesterday in one of our classes that all decisions have already been made and they snail-mailed the invitations yesterday. I thought that was odd because for me I received an email (that weird robotic-like email they send) that ended up being my acceptance and my mailed acceptance packet came later so not sure what order they are sending them for y'all. I'm sure you will hear back next week. We have already made the c/o 2023 invite-only facebook account and started our mentor-mentee surveys for matching so we're just as excited as you!

Yeah my memory was fuzzy on the details, and with the final season fast approaching I thought it wise to refresh myself. One of the best shows currently running.

Via email or snail mail? I was under the impression that everybody found out at the same time if it was sent via email.

Lol. I did not mean to freak anybody out. I asked a lot of questions when she told me. She thinks they were emailed and they were definitely in state people. I thought it was really weird. Especially since I don’t think the final decisions were even made till Thursday-Friday.
 
Are there any OS applicants that have heard an actual answer?

If they mailed Friday some people may receive these today!
