maybe you just made that statement as an after thought but oh my gosh, i know how that feels in 100 different ways (which includes "something like that"). I've been bummed about graduating cause no med school. i've been resorting to thinking, "well you know there are other people who are graduating who haven't gotten in to med school/grad school/job whatevs." But the thing is, I think I at least have to make an effort to enjoy graduation because its not just about me and my current situation but the collective experiences of the people that I've been through college with. I want to be part of that celebration as much as i can mentally because how many times am i graduating from college? no matter how you view this waitlisted situation (and you're talkin to a glass is half empty kind of guy), I don't think it means that we should think less of the accomplishments we have made. peace out.
