Okay. Thanks to both of you (AM and Truenamer) for answering my questions.

I think this is a valuable moment, because it points in the direction of a town Animal Midwife regardless of Truenamer's affiliation. If Truenamer is town, then it looks to me like a real insight that is worth taking seriously (even if he isn't totally certain). If Truenamer is mafia, then it looks like a classical TMI town read.

I also think AM continues to look more town independently. There's a degree of incisiveness in her responses to both questions and assertions that is somewhat rare in my experience from mafia. It goes beyond tone now, because I really sense that AM is digging into Truenamer with purpose.

Would be interesting to go back to LiterWWary (incidentally, also a Zenge modded game) where they (we, actually) all wolfed together. My memory of that is somewhat foggy since I knew who was village and who wasn't.

Maybe. I tend to get gut feelings that I can't really verbalize. Sometimes they're accurate.

about me for the regulars here: i've been playing mafia/ww since 2010, although i took a long break for a few yaers in the middle. i've played a lot, primarily on epicmafia, mafiascum, and mafia universe. i don't keep track, but probably have 200+ forum games completed? of the people here, i have the most experience with clem and santygrass. i have technically played one game with jjj, but it was a large anonymous turbo on MU, which doesn't really count as you don't associate a username with a person and it's too fast and chaotic to have meaningful interaction. I have technically occupied the same gamespace as AM a couple times but we also did not interact. i know of nate's existence.

I think coming into the game stressed about me would be a very safe approach for PotentialShelterWolf, because it's what we'd expect from PotentialShelterVillager given the last game she played with me.

I think coming into the game stressed about me would be a very safe approach for PotentialShelterWolf, because it's what we'd expect from PotentialShelterVillager given the last game she played with me.

i think a player who is not used to the style of starting the game off hard and fast and forming reads right away having this sort of reflexive paranoia and wondering how town can possibly be forming reads so early is villagery. the thought just strikes me as a realone in conjunction with the mention of being fearful of "powerwolfing" - would expect a wolf to be more directly critical of them if that was the route they went rather than being so hesitant

could maybe quibble that he seemed a lot more accepting of my read on him than their reads on each other but i kind of think if he was scum he'd make more of a show of it

Im fairly okay with JJJ tbh. If they are town I expect them to have an obvtown moment or something. Maybe its a high bar to measure but it is what it is.

I like their approach and know its Pro-villa, but can be faked. The trs on samac I agreed (the one in me too). If I had to point out something maybe their interaction with AM at the start with the Mild start made me waver, as to question how legit were their reads/questions.

But I agree with the later read about AM being inquisitive and stuff being probs Villa tbh?

I don't think there's necessarily a motivation behind it, it's just one of those things that an overly self-aware wolf might say awkwardly. Just has uncertain vibes
