Alright guys. So I have a "hunch" that Wolfspeaker does not play for the good side. Nothing super concrete, but it's more than just a random guess type feeling. Obviously, this puts me in a really awkward situation if that's not the case. but anyone who knows me knows I don't just throw ideas like this out there. I am more than willing to hear any defense and change my vote before I head to work in the am but for now Lynch Wolfspeaker

Aww come on guys, don't let my username sway you. I promise I am on the good side! But I am unsure how I can prove it. And of course the one person who knew that, for certain, has already been killed 🙁

Dang. That was a short-lived king-ship (there is a really obvious and more proper word for that, probably). Now what?

I'll jump on the bandwagon and elect devyn, but I'm gonna wait for more input as far as lynching goes.

Okay, well I'm off to bed. I will actually make myself get up a bit earlier so I can come on and check in the AM, since I'm sure this thread with explode over night with all you west coasters.
 
Also, I really should be in bed already. Have to be up and ready for work in 6 hours. But for some reason I am not tired.

I have completed all 40 ROLES for my WW GAME!!!! 😀

Just need to finish up the items.

1. I think it's odd that wolfspeaker was attacked on the first night, because (s)he is a noob and usually its the old-timers that get attacked early (see DVMdream) unless it was just a random silencing type item/role, which I personally am not a fan of using early on in case you silence someone important.

2. In case I am not around closer to the deadline, I am going to throw my lynch vote out there, also for a noob, because (s)he said she thought she'd be overwhelmed with PMs by the time she got home, which, why would anyone get overflowed with PMs if they were just a villager? In my experience, I have gotten way more PMs in 1 game as a wolf than all my games combined as a villager.
so lynch variegata. Unless people in her group can verify that you all have PMed a lot already or something. Plenty of time to change my vote.

3. People who know more about this series than I do (which is nothing), in your opinions, do role names generally make it obvious about what that player's ability could be? Or would it still be difficult to guess what the person could do, if you knew their identity?
 
Ok, have a few min before work to post, first, DVMD, I am really pissed that you were killed night one. I was ready to go on a wolf killing rampage with you. (insert angry face, pasting from phone sucks). I will avenge your death.

Also, not ready to jump on WS bandwagon yet, but do have some reservations.

Ok...so DVM was Myles of Olau (PS wtf wolves...leave the poor girl alone), who was Alanna's adopted father/mentor. While I think it is fishy WS and DVM were talking outside of their group, if WS is who I think she is (based on this comment above) then she is a villager and perhaps had some item or part of their role allowing them to speak?

Elect Devyn seeing as she's pretty much already King anyways.

I'll reserve my lynch vote for later while I think on things.

It is not that I do not think devryn would make a good mayor. It is just I have seen how Emiloo has played in the past and I like her style.

I will be reserving my lynch vote for now. I do not feel like lynching someone random just yet!

I am going to work in a little bit. I may not get to vote before the deadline. It depends how busy it is. So, if you do not hear from me, it is because of work.
 
*sigh* Nothing crazy happened while I was sleeping. I still have no idea who to lynch,and I have to run to work now. My employer is going to think I am crazy the next 4 days, taking my lunch break and running home to go on the computer before 2pm.

The darkings right? I can confirm this does exist because I received it after night 1. It allows the holder to pm with the other player that has one during the night cycle. You do know who the other person is when you get the darking.

You are always allowed to reveal items, but it is your choice to do so. Many people wait until they have lost said item, as something like an investigatory item will sometimes make you wolf bait if they know you have it. You can't copy and paste PMs/exactly what they do, so you have to paraphrase if you wish to share something.

Also, I'm the one who moved bbeventer 😳. There is an item (Kudarung, or winged horses) that allows you to move players. I had it last night and decided to RNG its use.

I'd like to have more info before I throw in my lynch vote but I have to do so now (no internet access around deadline). I don't have any real suspicions right now so RNG says lynch PetPony.

So DVM knew you were innocent? How is that possible considering she wasn't in your group?
 
Definitely was hoping the thread would have been a little more active than this.
Since I don't have any really great evidence to convince me to change my vote, I'm going to stick with it and won't be able to change it after this point since I'm at work.

So I will say that we've been PMing a bit, but nothing that would make me worry about the number of PMs in my inbox. Course after last game (Ravenclaw + Ghosties), I would say that thus far our PM #s don't hold a candle. :laugh: Could be a newbie thing for sure, and I don't know her(?) playing style at all. I hate to throw a fellow countryman under the bus the first lynch.

Thanks Abber. 👍 I know nothing about Tortall so I'm feeling a little bit lost on potential items, roles, etc.
 
I'm sooooo confused.... are we supposed to just guess what the roles & items could be based on the books? Or is there some secret code I'm missing as a noob?

I'm going to stand up for the silenced with my original vote... Emiloo for king and based on the evidence presented... Variegata for lynching.

Haha, I know nothing about it either, that's just what it sounded like HOH was saying the item did. I'm reading Trickster's Choice right now, but that doesn't really help me with lore, as it's quite a bit later in the timeline. :shrug:

I got a pm from ivorypolarbear that said I had a darking and I could pm with the person who has the other one. It gave their screen name not their role name. I wasn't saying who had the other one though.
 
OK guys...so here's something that I don't think is a coincidence.

DVM (King) is killed the first night, which would require a revote. Emiloo, the runner up in a close election, is silenced that night so she couldn't run for King after DVM is killed. Coincidence? I think not. Sounds too well planned to me.
