Once they receive the secondary, how long does it take to get the interview invite?

I got an email like your call. It came on the date I was expecting to hear the ultimate decision (2 weeks after the interview), and in it Obed stated that I should not worry, etc., he would be pushing to get me a response by a specific date in the future (which fell about 3 weeks after the interview).

I still didn't hear by that date, but I did hear 2 days later, and it was an acceptance.

Did u find out why? Because he told me the rest of the group was getting their answer except me.

I think he said something like the committee "still had folders to get through." I didn't know what to make of that at the time (and I guess I still really don't). Good luck.

I just interviewed at Touro this past week (3/2)... and I have to agree with what others before me on this post have mentioned. The building is nice (the outside can be deceiving), the faculty that I met were nice, and for the most part the students were very happy with attending Touro.

Also, Time Square is only 30 minute of a subway train away. You're practically in the heart of NYC.

I don't think these next 2 weeks of waiting can go by fast enough. Anyone have any suggestions on whether or not I should call or send them extra emails during this time?

Supposing that I am lucky enough to get an acceptance, how much time do I have to make a decision? Just wondering what the time frame is to lay down that fat deposit. Thanks!

I interviewed 2/22 and I haven't heard anything yet either... So don't worry! I think they're just running behind on responses.

From my experience, nothing you can do during that time will make any difference. Try to keep your mind off of it, if at all possible!

If you are wait-listed, then there are some proactive things you can do. Otherwise, just sit back and wait. Best of luck!

I don't know if it made any difference, but the first thing I did when I got home was send thank you cards to each of my interviewers and Obed...

You usually have 2 weeks to make a decision and put down a deposit from the time you find out of your acceptance

Well during my wait time, I bugged Obed about sending in extra credentials that I had during the two week period. I also sent thank you e-mails.

It was around 5:30pm when I got an e-mail back.

I interviewed the week after you, and I'm curious if they are actually accepting anyone anymore or just placing them onto the waitlist.

They do go deep into their wait list. Obed definitely said that. I think there's a chance you may get pulled off the medium waitlist. Maybe if you show continued interest (letter of intent, update on grades, community service..etc)that may bump you higher on the list.
