Received my rejection email today.
Congrats to those who got interviews!!
Congrats to those who got interviews!!
Thank you for your input. My father literally gave me the same answer.July.
(no but seriously our weather is kind of unpredictable, you don't have a chance of more/less snow with one interview week vs another)
YAY YAY YAYY!!Didn't get the chance to check SDN the last few days and I just found the OOS interview invite sitting in the "promotions" tab of my Gmail from yesterday!
Best surprise "spam" ever
Honestly don't remember, but day of you can kind of do some pseudo math by figuring out how many people are interviewing that day x # of interview days. OOS vs IS seats are like 45 OOS to 55 IS (roughly). So if there are 30 people interviewing that day and 3 interview days for IS your odds would be about 55/90 at that point. Again, not perfect, but I somewhat recall attempting that math when I interviewed there.Did anyone manage to find stats from previous classes of # of people interviewed vs. # of people accepted? Would love to know some %'s going in.

Thanks!@PageTurner in the confirmation email I received back in October it states the following “College transcripts reflecting completed fall 2017 coursework are not required, and we prefer not to receive them directly” and in the interview email they just say “call transcripts are not required at this time”...they only require that those offered admission send transcripts if they completed prerequisite courses in fall and/or spring.
Did anyone get a "confirmation" email once you signed up for your interviews? Those sign-up surveys always make me nervous
I emailed them yesterday cause my internet was being funny when I submitted it the other week. They said they received it so I wouldn't worry. Thanks! I kinda figured we didn't since I went digging through my email some and didn't find anything. I'm just being paranoid (story of our lives right now though, right?).
How many schools did you apply to? I applied to 10 basically to see what would stick ya know?I really am getting frustrated with the whole rejections... I got mine a week ago again. School #3 :/ Just waiting to hear from KSU yet! Good luck to everyone interviewing!

Nothing yetHas anyone heard back regarding your interview date? I don’t need to reach out to UM if we’re all still waiting, but wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything

So long as you pass you'll be fine. My acceptance back in the day was "conditional" depending on whether or not I passed the 2 pre-reqs I was still taking at the time. This might be a dumb question, but if you are taking a couple pre-reqs in the fall/spring would you be able to be offered admission or would it be dependent on how you do those semesters?

Well I mean they admitted you, so we know the bar was set pretty low back in those days.Still can't believe they let you in.
*ducks and runs*

I always pictured it as a hurdle? That's my point! You'd think they would have learned.
(That idiom always annoys me. I always hear it as a reference to limbo, and I always think "wait! a low bar is a lot harder!")

This will be my fifth interview this cycle. Don't get yourself too nervous. Just remember to be yourself. I wrote down some questions on notecards and had my husband interview me with them. Make sure to include ethical questions too, just so they don't throw you for a loop. And if you don't know the answer to something, just be honest with them. I think they appreciate someone who is willing to acknowledge their faults.Curious what everyone is doing for interview preparation?
Look up behavioral interview questions. Pretty sure they are still into asking those. Practice being able to draw on your own life experiences to answer those types of questions. It can help to look over your resume/application when you practice to draw from those specific experiences.
