I'm getting so nervous. I really really hope I get good news. :xf:

If nothing else, I hope I get a spot on the wait list that moves to an acceptance. I just want to get a move on already.

I've started a Facebook group for the UTCVM class of 2016. If you're on FB, please join! It will be an invaluable resource as you prepare to begin school, since students from previous classes will join and try to answer all of your questions. As the semester progresses, many students use the group to make plans, clarify points for tests, or just commiserate.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you, class of 2016! 😀
 
Dean Brace said that letters would definitely be mailed the 2nd, right? I'm hoping that means I'll have something in the mail tomorrow!
 
I got my acceptance via email yesterday. But I am currently located abroad so maybe they mailed it to everyone in the US.

My parents just called. My letter came. Going over there to open it.

(FYI: I live about 30 minutes from the school, so OOS people will probably get theirs tomorrow)

Now I definitely won't sleep tonight. I live in a state that borders Tennessee so tomorrow is the day. So worried.

Sticking through 4 application cycles alone makes you an inspiration. Getting through the other adversities you've overcome makes you awesome! 😎
 
Well, I was rejected. That's the end of round 2.

I am absolutely freaking out and am in shock. Its been such a long long road. A serious condolences for rejections 🙁

Yeah and my favorite part is my dad telling me that I need to put a cap on how many times I apply because I've "wasted 2 years of my life."

Does anyone know how many OOSers get waitlisted or how many get pulled off the waitlist?
 
Hey guys! I got accepted (which I was surprised!!! But I really enjoyed my interviewers so maybe they enjoyed me!) but will be declining for Davis. Hopefully that will help the waitlisters!!!! I really did love Tennessee and am excited for the other acceptancees!


I'm guessing I have to write a letter or something?? Got to do it quick!

congrats on the acceptance and knowing which school is right for you. Bummed we won't be classmates, though!

Thanks!! I know. I almost feel quite badly about turning them down, but Davis was always my top choice. Hopefully some of the interviewees I met made it in also!!!! Looks like you guys will have an awesome class
 
And waitlisted... Pretty disappointed about that one. Congrats to all who made it in though!
