This information is not proprietary nor is there any need for it to be private. It is exclusively because it is the AAMC's (and the schools') prerogative to make the process opaque. As a former adcom member at my institution I can tell you that there is no obligation for secrecy and just because a particular committee may not like the information being shared doesn't make it immediately unethical. Furthermore,
