Hello,

I was wondering if I should transfer schools or stay in the university I’m going to start this next fall. I’ll be entering Kean University for their Pre-Med program and most of the courses offered there aren’t offered in many other schools. I’m trying to get into my dream medical school, Columbia Medical School. Does it matter which undergrad I go to to get into medical school? If I receive a high MCAT score, high GPA, and since I’ll be president of a club soon for theater, what are my chances? How important is the name of your undergrad school? I also have 100 hospital volunteer hours, and I’m planning to start shadowing soon. So what are my chances? Also how do medical schools feel about students transferring from college to college?
