What to avoid and include in: What have you been doing since submitting your AMCAS application?

For the question:
What have you been doing since submitting your AMCAS application?

I'm not sure whether to include certain difficulties I've had (becoming homeless lol), or keep it to just activities like research, academic, etc. ?

I'm so sorry to hear about your misfortune and hope you find a place to live soon.
To answer your question, I would only include positive things. For instance if you got a B- in a class don't mention that. But if you got an award or new research or something those are the types of things to talk about. Just my opinion. Also you should post this in the main pre-med thread, it doesn't fit here.
