Hey now, Nyanko posted at least 5 times today, so that's progress on two fronts! Maybe we just need to post random wrong stuff about Nyanko on the thread each day to get her to talk. For tomorrow: "Nyanko hates neurology but absolutely loves osteology."

I feel like she's always talked this much, but does seem to be coming off a bit more headstrong on wolf hunting. Not sure what to make of it.

I've never played with Coopah, Pippy, Ski, or Lyra (and others obviously, but again this just off the top of my head), so I'm still trying to get a read on them

I also dropped the stats conversation hours ago, and if you thinks stats aren't involved in ww, then you are really wrong. The only reason I went into depth about it was because AM said Ny had the same chance as any of us, and that isn't necessarily true.

But Ny does have the same chance, which is why we aren't letting it go... Each game is independent as long as the mods are fair with their selection of stuff...

i would hope that everyone knows that getting me into an argument is the way to make me talk in these games. most of the before-your-time veterans know that for sure.

They are not retaliatory (at least on my end). You did a strategy centered on ignoring last game. That's fine if you want to play like that, but now I personally will be making sure you stay talking this game. I am likely switching off of you, but don't be surprised if you are not a default vote starting off each day as added encouragement to talk.

One instance in one game. You should know that isn't my usual play as wolf or villager. This Monday is the start of me working 10 days straight and my first day off I'm leaving the country, so there is a good chance I will have some less active days, especially next Saturday and Sunday when I work all day by myself. So if you choose to lynch me on one of my busy days, congrats, you will get a villager lynched.

Normally this type of aggressive behavior off the bat from coop would have me leaning slightly village, but the fact that she's gone after two people who are known easy lynch targets does have me keeping an eye on her.

Little known fact, I actually love stats. It's the most fun puzzle to figure out! I wouldn't have gone off on a small diatribe if AM hadn't said Ny was no more likely than the rest of us to be a wolf. I had forgotten about the point rojo brought up about two (or really in this case one) roll of the die has already been taken, so it changes things a bit.

I'm almost beginning to feel like some of you are egging me on with the stats talk. If you don't want me to talk about it, then stop bringing it up. I do feel it's more useful than the avatar discussion though. I also agree it's weird @LadyOtheFarm is in the lead and hasn't checked back in.

I don't count it. Not only was it over half a year ago, my dog went missing for the duration of the game and I was preoccupied with that. I couldn't tell you a single thing that happened in that game. And before you tell me to read it, I'm not going to. I don't feel like reliving the time period of my dog being gone.

With coop, it can be normal. Gotta focus more on analysis after the fact sometimes for me to really read her. AM is also a mixed bag. Good luck to you on figuring out which side you end up on with that. 🙂

I'm talking about retaliation votes as in "ny was a wolf last game and wolves won so I'm voting for her now." I don't think that is true for everyone that is voting for her (ex. I don't believe that is the basis for LIS voting for her) but I do think several people are voting for her for that reason, which is just poor logic/judgement imho.

Yes yes, I forgot about the rule about the die that have already been rolled, again, ww is also more complicated than rolling dice. Part of me wishes I still had access to spss and I could run some better stats, but I don't have the time or resources at this time.

Yep, that's the game I'm thinking of! I like it solely as a D1 strategy. But I'm only tempted, not won over to actually applying it here 😉

I'm not sold on them. I'm not totally opposed to LotF since she still hasn't checked back in. I think I'm one of the people in the #3 spot, so obviously I'm not ok with that and I've said it enough that I'm pretty sure everyone knows I think retaliatory votes on Ny are BS.

Just from a mod pov, putting your lynch in its own line is helpful for tallying purposes for the future. 🙂
