the other two are purple and green? I know they are good, but why different colours?

I had a scorpion item last night and told the mods I was not touching that evil thing with a ten foot pole. It lets you attack someone, but they said be careful because it can turn on you if you make it angry. Lost it.

Guess the items that go out depend on the cycle going on? That sounds very desert like to me! Ew...scorpions.

Anyways,
don't know if I will be around for the lynch, but it seems like LIS knows....something? So I will go along with him for now, and hopefully get back on before the deadline and see if I need to change my vote:

No idea who to vote for yet. Will have to put in a vote a few hours early bc I'll be taking my test the last hour before the deadline 🙁

So LIS has been very consistent for the past two lynch cycles voting for PP, even though it didn't catch on and even brought PP up in thread as suspicious in the "eyebrow-raising posts" pictionary. I can't imagine he would be so publicly adamant about that if he were a wolf. And he also did bring up how it was between squirrels and PP for him last lynch. So as of now I trust his suspicions for kakurubird, esp because it's not just a hunch.

2.) Is she now off the hook in your eyes?

3.) Or did you just give up because no one followed you the last two lynches?

So I was debating on giving out information (some people want more, some people say to keep it all hidden, both strategies I can understand) but I figured with the number of people in this game, item information can't hurt that much and might spark someone's imagination for possible clues. last night I had an item called a Sap Sac that would silence anyone that attacked me for 1 day/night and I would be unharmed. If this would be seen as an attack on me in the writeup, or me attacking someone else in the writeup, I have no idea.

I have 2 interviews today and a ton of other stuff to get done, so I may not be around to read additional information. So while I am not convinced of kakurubird, I will have to go with them. So, lynch kakurubird

Good luck with figuring out more information today.
 
I am also interested in why the switch LIS. New info about Kakurubird or do you still have the same feelings for both PP and Kakurubird?

Also, for the items, I think it would be useful to know what terrain they are used in, as my theory is that certain items are only used during certain terrains/climates. So if anyone else feels the same way and wants to contribute, care to assign the ones that I don't know what terrain they belong to? (i.e. what terrain you had them)

Swamp
1. inkvine- silences
2. Chaballa plant- tells who is in danger
3. Deathbottle (carnivorous plant)- silences

Forest
4. White Claudia Seeds- hallucinogen
5. unicorn- protects a group

Desert
12. Lotusberry - ??? (SOV, 797 - hasn't reported effects to us)
13. ??? - speak in rhymes/lullaby (krist, 767 - later seen in Packen's posts)
14. Scorpion - can attack someone with


No clue what terrain:
6. Lasher- another silencing carnivorous plant
7. gemstone elixir- heals a silenced player
8. star cactus- silences until someone mentions you on the thread
9. Black Mercy flower - lets you read player's mind for their night action (FTB, post 806)
10. Garlic - protects group against vampires (zany, 949)
11. Hawkeye - boomerang-like weapon (orca, 1238)

Oh and I hate that we lost IPB last night. Of course because she's an investigator but also...can you imagine the amount of PMs TW might send with no IPB to distract her?!

Seriously...we'll miss you in the Forest.🙁

How the heck are the wolves getting our investigatory roles?! They did this in the X-Men game as well, and I just don't understand if they're lucky or really good.

I didn't have the berries. I was just suggesting that it might be dangerous to eat them. Apparently a lullaby fail in my part.

I had the craze daizee flower. It causes you to post and PM in lullabies. It was during the desert climate.
 
Hoping that more info on karu will come up before the lynch. Don't want to blindly jump on the bandwagon. Unless I am missing some pics LIS posted cuz I'm on my phone.

Most likely the wolves have an investigator who can investigate someone every night - there was one in the X-Men game. They just happened to investigate LIS the first night and find he was Prof X, so.... yes luck and investigations.


Seems like LIS must have info from somewhere as he says he can back it up & it is more solid then his suspicions for PP so

During the night, a strange rabbit/deer hybrid attacks another creature causing injuries that will need to be healed. There were also two fatal attacks during the night. The first one came from the north end of the desert. All that could be determined is that a rather deafening buzzing noise was heard at that end of the desert. The victim of this creature was Abney, the Marine Lion, a neutral character who could send messages. All that is left of her is a liquid soup...

On the far west end of the desert a large, flying creature corners another creature. The large creature relases quite a bit of flames from its mouth and quickly IPB, The White Stag, item investigator dies.

There is good happening on this desert night though. On the far south end of the desert, a strange dung beetle like creature is seen working diligently. Suddenly cuitlamiztli stands up before her, revived and ready to join her fellow friends on Halldora.

I am wondering if the directions in this write-up mean anything?? For example, the first attack on Abney "came from the north end of the desert." Does this mean the attacker lives in Desert? Likewise, a large flying creature "on the far west end" and killed IPB, does this indicate the location of the dragon-like attacker or the location of IPB (which is Montego Forest)??

I am not sure - for "the desert" could indicate the whole terrain in desert-like condition, or specifically, the Desert area.

Anyone, any thoughts??

No the for the day/night cycle the entire planet was desert-like, so that really has nothing to do with it. Plus when I do write-ups I usually just put in different areas for different attacks kind of like a narrative to make it more interesting... the directions do not mean anything. DVM said the most important parts were in bold - yes read the entire write-up, but I would not read too much into the directions of where the attacks came from. I would assume perhaps that who killed them and the way they died is more important.
 
Ok, this should be plurality. I am 100% going on blind faith of LIS here. My gut says to trust him, so if he is adamant about the dinosaur here goes:
