That's kind of why I don't feel too bad about using a random number generator right now. I mean, obviously evidence would be much preferable, but any "evidence" we have right now is very shaky at best. I'm hoping we get a real lead soon.

There's really a lot of people who aren't saying much... I know I haven't played before and that it's slow in the beginning, but that has to be a pretty solid contributing factor as to why all the people who are talking a lot are so frackin lost.

I know I haven't posted all that much, but that's mostly due to the fact that someone always says what I am about to before I can! That, and when things go crazy I'm usually away from the computer. I'll be around for a short while in the AM, but I'll be at work from noon until 8 ish central. Depending on the caseload, I may or may not be able to catch up during work.

In the book the pin is a mockingjay pin given to Katniss by Madge. It's the item Katniss brings into the arena to remind her of her home. The pin originally belonged to Madge's aunt who died as a tribute in one of the games. I don't know what it could do in the game but that's the background on the pin from the book.
