And the problem here is that none of the living players who were on Hatari at the time were on the shelter lynch, so that doesn't help me decide today :lame:

So, here we go:
There has to be a wolf on Hatari. Because either Jil was attacked like she says, or she wasn't. If she wasn't, she probably lied about part of her night result, and she's the wolf. Or, she wasn't attacked, but someone was trying to perform some action on her other than FFM's jailing, and they haven't fessed up, so again, that person is a wolf.

So I really think we should hear arguments from Jil and FFM today, maybe LIS though I doubt he is the wolf. If anybody still thinks I'm a wolf you haven't been paying attention. I know there is a wolf in the cthulhu group too because of the kills last night, but statistically we have a better shot looking for the Hatari wolf (unless there are 3 wolves left, in which case it's about the same I think).

Ok, am I super duper paranoid or was this actually a rojo that FFM cleverly covered by continuing to ask me how I knew that something had happened to Jil? :thinking:

Someone else needs to come talk because right now I am driving myself craaaazy
 
unlynch kara, lynch LIS if we really aren't going to get this whole thing resolved until we lynch the entire planet of hatari, we are pretty screwed though. someone remind me why LIS isn't the wolf we're looking for on hatari? if it's just your reads, WZ, then like, i'm just going to go ahead and disregard that.

Ow, my feels
Why do you think it's LIS instead of FFM or Jil? I'm not the only one who had been reading him village.
 
the way i see it, jil claims she was attacked, FFM claims he is jailer and so she was block/protected. those two jive with each other. because he's jailer and not just straight up protector, he could have prevented a wolf kill by blocking her as much as protecting her obviously. if we assume both are telling the truth, and you seem like you're a pretty flailing villager right now to me, then LIS is the only other real option no?
 
or you're just really good at pretending to flail, and you're actually the wolf. but then you would have defended the hell out of another wolf (shelter) which i don't really think is something you'd do. but you know, wifom and all that

I don't know about the assumption that they are both telling the truth though.
I want to hear more from Jil anyway, there are a few things that might be clarified depending on what she says, but it would be a little mind bendy to me for LIS to be the wolf, just based on his play over the entire course of the game. Lots of little things that to me add up to...not wolfy LIS. I could be wrong.

Do you have any thoughts on this though?

With the starting locations being RNG, could it be possible that the homeworlds were RNG too?

So there is a lot of protection in this game with the JOAT, protector, and jailer. STL mentioned that with a serial killer it would make sense for the wolves to have a protector. Could it be they have a jailer instead. It seems like that could be a wolfy ability as much as a village ability. So along that line of thought I think I'm going to

This is what I keep coming back to as to why ffm isn't the wolf. So I'm looking at LIS or WZ. LIS pretty much does play the same whether he is wolf or village, so I could go that way, plus he was on board with the tie thing yesterday, which was just a horrible idea, and we lost two villagers because of it, definitely something wolves would be all over.

WZ, you said you wanted some answers from me, but what are your questions? I just finished work and I'm about to drive home, so I should be back on thread in about an hour.
 
I'm also suspicious of SOV moving. Descartes has been quite lucky with the items lately, so it would be a smart move to go there in hopes of getting an item that could help the wolves.

Speaking of wolves and items, is it possible they can share items amongst the pack?

I am gonna go with wolves not having a protector. They have ended a lynch early, shut down a trading post, and iirc one could go thru the gate willy nilly.

As for pulling a rojo, I am not that careless with my communication.

I bought the moving item, and AM should know that.

Nothing wolfy about it.

I will say this, I was not in the right planet to get the item, but Lupin let me buy it anyway. She can confirm that there was a mix-up. No way is this wolfy, or me.

I said I wanted to strategically move here a few nights ago, and was just waiting till I had enough $$$ to move.

That is some lame logic.... Not befitting a penn-we.
1) villagers would like items as much if not more than wolves.
2) past performance is on indication of future returns. I mean really, descartes is lucky so going there increases chances of getting an item? I want to play poker against you my lady wolf.

that is how that reads to me.
It has totally happened before.
It's not like a wolf would ever send a PM including the wrong person and reveal all the wolves to someone 🙂hello🙂... mistakes happen.

Have to mull some more, but that is kind of damning for FFM and JIl, but since I am already on Jil I will stay there, if she is a wolf, I think FFM would be my next target.

I also "read" LIS as village pretty strongly, like I said earlier, if not, he has done a really good job.

He has successfully used the "busy wolf" routine in the past. Not saying he isn't busy irl. Just that it has happened.
 
i guess i don't really understand how you would think both FFM and Jil are wolves based on what was discussed in this thread SOV. why no kill on that night if there's some wolf collusion? a conversion you think?

I don't know if both Jil and FFM are wolves, but there was a crafty yet similar move pulled off during the Lion King. One wolf attacked another type of wolf knowing that they wouldn't kill them. It semi-cleared the second wolf because "why would the wolves attack one of their own?"

She said she protected Karabou but neither of them were notified of an attack so I consider that a pretty low chance of being the reason for the no kill.
I don't think Jil and FFM are both wolves, though it's possible.
If FFM is the wolf, I think wolves had him block/protect Jil and then attacked her so that he would be effectively cleared.
If Jil is the wolf, it's a little more obvious, he successfully blocked her and she lied about being attacked to explain the no kill.
If LIS is the wolf he almost definitely lied about not being notified that FFM jailed him n1, and I don't see the motivation for that. There are a couple other post things but really it's just stuff like that, his actions throughout the game have felt village to me.

At some point some of the game is going to be based on feels and post analysis. You have to narrow things down somehow, info doesn't get you everywhere. If you guys want to lynch LIS that's fine, I just can't get behind it.
