WWarriors: Into the WWild

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Mel still has question marks after his name meaning he still has an ability. Mel, if you're able to kill anyone kill ziggy.

-tries to say I have knowledge of a specific mechanism even though had apparently read my post where I said it was mod info
-accuses me of not having mod info
-asks for mod into but still accuses me since my dog was ****ting
-crickets when I provide info
I liked the post. Did you need a thank you? I put it into my pm

Okay okay I know I said I wouldn’t be reading anything in writeups anymore but if Mel autorezzes after this I will not be surprised
Don't tell anyone but I'm expecting this too

Lol I had forgotten about that...almost had to replace you with your manator 🤣
How I did not earn the superlative “most absent” or something, I’ll never know

What if his role is to be lynched and then rez as something better?

Naw. Usually rezzes of roles like his because vanillager. I think the mods wouldn't deliberately make an overpowered role that becomes OP after a lynch.

What? Am I the only one who can’t comprehend this? Anyways, SDN is a special place for flavor and mods can do whatever they want. That’s like Rule #1 of WW. And I never said an overpowered role. I meant he came back with an ability

Possible mason pair? Or maybe there's a resurrector out there?
Based on that line from sporty, definitely a resurrector out there. I’m trying so hard to believe that there must be some sort of benefit for mel and the village to be lynched the way he did. Otherwise, if the sacrificial lamb is like the noob game, he would’ve died tonight and there wouldn’t have been night kills. this would also mean he was wasting our time lynching him when we could’ve been wolf hunting. That’s so anti village and to pull something like that as a villager is just disappointing. I want to believe Mel wouldn’t do something like that regardless of affiliation. So I’m led to believe that there’s something else mechanically going on behind the scenes that none of us are privy to. My theories are either some sort of role upgrade upon rez or some janitor mechanism in play

I think it's entirely possible he was a sacrificial lamb for the lynch and not for the night kill. I've used that in noob games that didn't have a mayor vote. I still can't really explain why he wouldn't let the lynch go organically so we could benefit from the info, but then I can't say I really ever understand mel.

Rez + upgrade would be sweet! What does a janitor role do?
You are a Janitor. Each night you may choose a player. If that player is lynched the next day, they will vanish and only you will receive the role reveal.
This was my role when I had a very short and depressing stint as a wolf in the 20s

I wonder how closely this follows the books. Spottedleaf came back for the Great Battle.
Did she come back like guns a blazing? I don’t think I got that far into the series

Anyone notice that Spottedleaf was in Thunderclan in the writeup, but then Starclan at the bottom of the post?

For people who haven’t read warriors there are 4 clans —
Thunder Clan
Shadow Clan
River Clan
Wind Clan

All clans have had various bad characters, but the majority have been from Thunder Clan and Shadow Clan just because they are the two main clans that have the most main characters.

Star Clan is where cats go when they die.

The Dark Forest (idk if this will be included) is sort of the opposite of sky clan and filled with all the bad cats, but there’s also a way living cats can go to the Dark Forest via dreams

Hope this helps! I read the first 5 series, so if anyone has questions I can probably answer them.

Day 1: Into The Wild

A corrupt Shadowclan leader sought nothing but power, sending kits into battle and watching his very own elders starve.

@Melchizedek - Spottedleaf, sacrifical lamb + ?????
For context, this first line is talking about Bramblestar. He’s a baddie for sure. If there’s another sort of kidnapping mechanism I swear to god.

I don’t think we can assume Mel was in thunderclan for the game just because his character is in the books
Sky Clan is where cats go when they die.
Actually star clan is where the good kitties go when they die. Sky clan is like a forgotten or exiled clan that gets brought back later on if I remember correctly

Hey you disliked some of my posts too! 😛 I just wanted to inform you how very strongly I disagree with some of your posts😉
Just say you hate them! Hey! We could be in the same clan for all you know. Nobody wants to see intraclan violence!

Okay. I hate your ziggy tunnel. Loved your work in the soccer game but I think you got really lucky and I think you’re wrong about ziggy

@StayingPositive2017 i can back up ziggy btw. This is what I’ve gotten from mods
questions ive asked mods thus far...
1. are the pms we open as night actions compulsory?
2. are they permanent or only last a certain amount of time?
3. are they opened by mods or do we open them ourselves and include mods?
4. Can anything bad happen if we open a pm? Like how in flush’s game, the first person to target the paranoid gun owner got killed?

answers from sporty:
1. No
2. They are permanent if they successfully open
3. Please place it as a night action. On night close, we will tell you if it is successful. If it is successful, you may open the PM and add us to it.
4. no

Okay. I'll trust you on this. Who is wolf?
Mostly leaning toward Mrs right now. Her last reply to me made me feel a little better but I still feel like the justification she gave for keeping a lynch vote on me for as long as she did without bringing up my posts and saying “this made me feel xyz” or something. She kinda just vaguely said “yeah I agreed with what cubs said” and that whole mel thing happened.

also side eyeing AM until she responds to the post that made me feel icky. Also I still don’t understand her Pippy vote (and yes AM, I did read, I still don’t get it)

Just got caught up.
Would quote messages but that would take me to long and it’s wayyyy past my bedtime.
Feeling good about genny and cubs, their interacting, posts, and responses to the thread.
Am and pip seem like their village selves, but I’m not ready to say they are 100% village.
Not feeling good about Sunny. Seems highly stuck in a tunnel, I know people have its their meta, but not feeling it right now.
Kota seems to have good reasoning with her votes and seems to be wolf hunting, village lean right now.
Would like to hear more from jen, seems to be pretty quiet compared to her first game when I was clearly reading her village.
These are all the people I can think of right now, I’m legitimately falling asleep as I type this.
I hope to be more active tomorrow, but it won’t be till later in the evening, and depending on how many pages there are, will determine my activity.
Goodnight y’all!

some general thoughts before I sleep for a very long time:

I feel okay about AM, cubs, genny, +/- pippy and kota

I feel not okay sunbodi because they were acting different than that game they yelled a lot until people started mentioning it, feel weird about Alissa, don’t know about jenjen and need to see more

Idk how much time I want to spend looking in to mels fauxjo

One option is that Mel was just being Mel and wanted to create drama, but maybe he also saw himself as dying anyway tonight (if he was sacrifical lamb for night kill...is a lynch sacrificial lamb common those of you who know more than I?) and was trying to prevent us from going down a a lynch path he disagreed with?

It sounds like he'll be back.

I've never played with Sunbodi is their tunnel on ziggy norm for them?

It's quite determined, but I'm just not getting those vibes from ziggy yet

So I guess my confusion stems from not realizing you all played a game where someone dies just from opening a pm. Ziggy's question was answered by the mods to confirm I wouldn't die just from opening a pm. Was that what you all were trying to say?

That being said, @CoffeeQuestionMark can you better explain this quote?
I just would appreciate it if people did not put these ideas into people's heads that there is anything wrong with being able to PM
I still do see how alissa's quote did this. Eil5 please
