I ate my wedding cake the next afternoon so it was all fine in the end hahaha

Zenge and I didn't have a big cake, we had individual plated desserts and people could have either a chocolate mousse dome or a pear ricotta cake*.

The wedding planner at the venue was super weird about the whole thing, tbh, very odd duck that one.

I didn't eat anything at the reception, just talked to people. And they kept refilling my champagne. I think I had a piece of cake after we cut it for photos, but the whole thing was a bit of a blur.

We did that too! I did make a small cake for cutting which is what I had the next day. We cut it into quarters and froze 3/4 for future years
