I shared it in case it was wolfy. I hadn't interacted with many people so getting targeting in the middle of the day was bizarre. I said it didn't *seem* to do anything, which is synonymous for unlikely to affect me. You think the bouncer's results would change just because of what my role is? Like if had been capri it would make sense because the DD has no affiliation with the club but because they target the DJ you think it shouldn't go through?

What do you think as a wolf I would've possibly gained from sharing that?

Bouncer could detain the DD for seeming underage it makes sense. I'm saying targeting the DJ who is employed by the club seems odd. Especially if you're working everyday. Who knows what a wolf could gain from sharing that info. We got a bonus for likes so I'm not putting anything past these mods on what may or may not be beneficial. That or it was a slip up both possibilities.

What I'm trying to point out is it wouldn't make sense for game mechanics to change based on someone's role unless the roles were related (such as cat and mouse in Baking).

Kay, c'mon guys, this is silly. Anything is possible. Of course results from a single item/player/ability can vary depending on the role of the person who receives them.

Exactly this point Tarty made. WTF Cray? He's never flipped wolf, and now it looks like she's just saying stuff to seem helpful. More sketch points going that way. There seems to be a wagon already forming on her, so I'll wait until she responds to this before I choose whether I want to vote there or not.

I always just say things to seem helpful. Actually being helpful is pretty much beyond me.

So right now we have info that WZ was "bounced" D2, and had a vig shot unsuccessfully fired at her
Genny was "bounced" N2
Mel is currently "bounced" D3

It's possible that we saw a part of how the "bouncing" works yesterday, with what looked like WZ being able to avoid a shot. If that is the mechanic at play, and it is the same for those who are day bounced vs night bounced, then genny may not be a killer, she may have been attacked. At this point I don't think I am ready to vote there yet, but she did jump off the WZ lynch (sketch points), claiming it picked up speed too quickly (though she was the first who voted there after Dolphin[village points]).

The coffee vote yesterday is bothering me again because I went back to read and realized Mixy voted there after coffee came out with the bouncer message info.
@Crayola227 did this too tagging so this stands out when you get back on.
@Lawper what was with the switching between coffee and Capri yesterday around lynch close?

I'll have to reanalyze that. It's possible I actually typed up the decision to lynch her before her info drop. It's because of the way I play, where if I'm catching up I respond as I go.

I do know this for a fact without checking, the vote was placed because of how she was interacting with others, not the specificity of the info that she dropped or merely the fact she dropped info. It was the way she reacted to others and the way it sounded that came off wolfy to me.

Cray was also contributing a lot of stuff that I found a bit distracting. I get that's her meta but I'm eh about it. I think Mel is a better wolf hunter than Cray and if they end up being village I'd rather not lose Mel.

this looks scarily like a similar list from last game.... I think. You and someone else made these color code lists IIRC. I wonder how much this reflects intrinsic bias you have vs how much it's actually been influenced by player behavior this particular game.

Last game people got on my case every time I posted reads without voting so I thought it would be best to vote with my reads this game.
I knew Cray was village last game when she did it but it's super easy to act that way as a wolf too. I don't have as much of a problem voting for someone that promotes misinformation because that's a wolfy tendency.

yes, there's an acronym for that LAL lynch all liars. I am very much aware of this and I guarantee when I wolf I am way more careful about image control.

As far as misinformation, my comment about Tarty's style stands even if it isn't his proven wolf meta. Don't lower your guard because he's a jokester.

I’ve been discussing the results with the mods and have expressed concerns about the trustworthiness of the results and I’m feeling pretty good about it. And sorry I didn’t respond it wasn’t on purpose, I agree I didn’t like the coffee lynch, not bc of the DJ role but just bc I didn’t find their play that sketchy like others did. I don’t particularly mind that explanation that you gave of your actions. But for me I find it odd that you’d jump on a lynch for someone who wasn’t defending bc looking back Capri was tagged several times.

the backtracking on CoffeeQ feels like a wolfy consolation move, the ask to be green feels a little suck up-y to (was it Paws she quoted there?). This feels like a defense of WZ and a threat to Dolph.

Okay yes I'd noticed the first thing, I think her voice got overshadowed by DVMD yesterday so I didn't flag it, and on top of that I'll add that her insistence that genny had to be a wolf that was blocked and unwillingness to consider other options has got my skin prickling. Time to take a closer look at coops.

I see thank you. I agree with you btw dj couldn't be stopped by the bouncer.

I don't know what world you all are living in. I worked at a bar for years, and part of the bouncer's job was to make sure the bar employees were safe. That meant anything from driving us home to taking the keys and calling us a cab to pulling us off some patron we were gonna beat down.

I'm with Allie on all the bouncer stuff. I reread but still slightly confused about it all. Coop seems pretty sure about Genny at the moment though. Worked out pretty well yesterday but IDK about 2 days in a row...seems too easy. Plus Genny's play has seemed village to me up to this point. A wolf influencer who could steal a vote or force someone to vote a certain way it gives wolves wolf pack # +1 votes and is a little OP in my opinion. Pippy/Jboo might have a different opinion on that but
In addition, I don't see where dolphin has explicitly said she isn't in control of her vote, just that she felt compelled to vote that way. Dolphin feel free to clarify if that is whats happening or if you are saying you feel compelled to vote dubz because of your night results.

I personally feel like WZ isn't acting like her normal self. She normally gets irritated when she's being lynched (especially when it's happening this early). So, I'm actually kinda thinking that maybe the wolves are doing a "sacrifice" so we'll trust the info. HOWEVER, it seems to be REALLY early for something like that.
TLDR: WZ feels off based on her play but I don't have a solid wolf feel (tbh I don't have a solid wolf feel anywhere).

I don't know. I'm kinda feeling cheez but tbh (see above) if this is a potential wolf ploy to make us trust dolphin I could vote there.

I really want to read this as just a villager who's wrong, but it just reads wolfy.

It was WWar for the Imperium of Man like 6 months ago. It was TG who was a wolf. I got you both mixed up because you both start with T and tend to have a terse style. You'll notice in that game, where I was a big village bad ass, I made the exact same point about your gameplay as I did here, and I also said it was part of your "wolfy meta." Not sure if you corrected me or not.



From now on I will just say "I think this fits what I would think is their wolf meta even if they don't have one" and leave it there.
