Congrats to all who were accepted!!! Definitely come to Second Look weekend; it literally changed my mind entirely on where I was going to med school (and I'm so happy here now)! Getting a chance to talk to a lot of current students and your future classmates (as well as the lovely Barbara Fuller) in the context of open-bar receptions and some sweet events is an opportunity that should not be missed.

There were about 16 on my day. Not sure if this is average, though.
To those who have interviewed, what exactly was the breakfast? Wondering if best to eat prior...

It was a sort of continental breakfast...with cereal and milk, muffins, danish-like things, assorted fruit, yogurt, orange juice, tea, and coffee. Definitely enough for a whole breakfast if you wanted to eat it there.
Complete since 7/24 and nothing. I wouldn't bother calling, we're probably rejected since it's been so long.
oze, was that a pre- or post-interview rejection?

I've heard nothing yet, so I hope that bodes well. That, or perhaps they haven't finished wording my rejection just yet.
Congrats to those guys who got interviews at Brown, its a great school and we all love it here. Would you guys please put up your interview experiences on the feedback thread? I think it will really help out everyone who is about to interview.

does brown send out complete emails, or is that based on online status and when brown received all of your things for the file?

Looks like Aug. 6. They really took their time with it, apparently eking the laughs out of every page.

I still find it funny that they rejected you...although I'm pretty sure you would have never made it to that interview.
They give out invites till late jan./early feb. Interview till february
You guys think it's worth still applying here? I know there's just a few days to submit the secondary. 3.5/30 mcat and some unusual experiences, health care advocacy, 1st authorship and other pubs. Not looking to waste my time but what a cool school. Thoughts...?
I know that there are still a few interview spots that they've left open for late applicants (1-2 full days last I checked). If you're really interested can't hurt.
Aren't we supposed to find out our decision today if we interviewed on 12/3?
Nope Friday is D-day... wonder how many people will get accepted? Do they accept only 40 or do they accept about 80 for a class about 40...?
To find out about your acceptance they send you an e-mail, at least if you get accepted, but I am sure they do either way since they don't interview that many people. What is the status page? I never even knew about it!
