Congrats to all who were accepted!!! Definitely come to Second Look weekend; it literally changed my mind entirely on where I was going to med school (and I'm so happy here now)! Getting a chance to talk to a lot of current students and your future classmates (as well as the lovely Barbara Fuller) in the context of open-bar receptions and some sweet events is an opportunity that should not be missed.
 
How many people are there interviewing on any given interview day?
 
To those who have interviewed, what exactly was the breakfast? Wondering if best to eat prior...

Complete 8/6. Dates offered were Thursdays in February and early March.
 
i've been complete since july 16th and haven't heard a thing. should i contact the admissions office?

It was a sort of continental breakfast...with cereal and milk, muffins, danish-like things, assorted fruit, yogurt, orange juice, tea, and coffee. Definitely enough for a whole breakfast if you wanted to eat it there.

Complete since 7/24 and nothing. I wouldn't bother calling, we're probably rejected since it's been so long.

Sorry to hear about the rejections! 🙁

I submitted mid-September. Status page says everything was received by the third week of September, but I never received a complete email.

... silence...
 
Have many people been denied without an interview as of yet?
 
Congrats to those guys who got interviews at Brown, its a great school and we all love it here. Would you guys please put up your interview experiences on the feedback thread? I think it will really help out everyone who is about to interview.

Has anyone on the waitlist heard a anything at all about it? Anyone been given an update as to where they are standing so far? Unlikely to be any movement until late in the spring, but I figured someone might have heard something!
 
guys....do you think its too late for me to submit my secondary? my primary was complete in late september (yes, i said late september) and this is my last secondary to do. thoughts?
 
just read that they only interview ~250 students a cycle. pretty unique aye?

does brown send out complete emails, or is that based on online status and when brown received all of your things for the file?

i didn't get the e-mail yet, but my status is updated to reflect my rejection pre-interview.

I was complete August 14th and my status page says my application is still process...

when do they interview till?
 
You guys think it's worth still applying here? I know there's just a few days to submit the secondary. 3.5/30 mcat and some unusual experiences, health care advocacy, 1st authorship and other pubs. Not looking to waste my time but what a cool school. Thoughts...?

I know that there are still a few interview spots that they've left open for late applicants (1-2 full days last I checked). If you're really interested can't hurt.
 
anyone else interview 11/5? aren't we suppose to hear back on friday?

Nope Friday is D-day... wonder how many people will get accepted? Do they accept only 40 or do they accept about 80 for a class about 40...?

To find out about your acceptance they send you an e-mail, at least if you get accepted, but I am sure they do either way since they don't interview that many people. What is the status page? I never even knew about it!
