seems like there's a lot of us in this boat - let's try pooling all the information/strategies/wisdom we've gained from reading through previous year's forums or phone calls made to the admissions office. from what i've read, penn state appears notorious for long waits and absence of information in regards to their wait list, and at the moment i'm completely uncertain if writing or calling is really helping my case at all.
