Speak for yourself, don't call anyone for help. I don't buy it if you say you don't feel inferior being at FSU compared to those studying at UF. It smells a mile away in your nonsense statements you think you directed towards me. Pull yourself together, and don't judge people from different schools. You're not in the playground, or do you?So you are arguing that residency programs do not look at what medical school their applicants are applying from? Every medical school trains their applicants in slightly different ways and has their own unique focus. I guarantee you that plays a role in what and where their students match. You have a long way to go young padawan (I don't know why I am in a Starwars mood today lol).
Anyways, I am not going to start a flame war with you as much as you would like one. Try to play nice and not alienate everyone on this forum. Some of these people could be your class mates next year or (I gasp to think!!) your mentors even!
May the Force be with you. Oh and GO NOLES!
IF FSU has been know of its focus on primary care especially in rural Florida and that of UF's especially on research and high-end specialties in healthcare, then it's transparent that you have an ill-built dilemma coming from your arrogant brain. UF's having less residents in ortho this year's match cannot change its value.. But, just try to console the kid in yourself, young padawan (you like it, I know), and get ready when it's your turn to get your "butler" kicked hard in the residency match (oh, gasp, should I say the "scramble" instead.)
It only boils down to that particular applicant's personal strength in acing every single obstacle on the way. You're out of my league.
Just cut it short, and get your "butler" away, if you know what I mean
