Our final round of admission announcements will be on February 25, 2011. Our meetings are late in the day, which pushes our messages into the early evening.

DATE CHANGE: Waitlist positions are now due to announce March 4, 2011, as well as the closing of the process for all others.

Thanks, it should be a really fun conference. I've never been to New York, so I plan to go without sleep and cram as much fun as I possibly can within my 3 days there.

New York is one of my favorites! Definitely do as much as you can, but pick the things you are really interested in and have enough time to soak up the city. Let me know if you need any recommendations/opinions on what to do.

Sounds good - happy to help. I had someone give me some great rec's the first time I went to NYC and it really helped. It can get overwhelming, but it is SO FUN..after you finish all your sciency fun of course 🙂.

I know that Tucson takes your best score, I can't speak for Phoenix though. However, I can't imagine why it would be any different.

Too funny! Where in WA? I am in Spokane. This is ridiculous for sure. After that tease of spring we just had. I think I am out for snow boarding this year as I just had my shoulder put back together and I fear my surgeon would frown upon eating it on the side of a mountain...lol. Stay warm and safe!

It's a small world! I'm down in Pullman, working at WSU. I have to say, you aren't making snowboarding sound very enticing- I like to use my shoulders on a regular basis.

Tiny world for sure. I work for WSU Spokane. You can PM your work dept. if you want. I was actually on the 195 late evening yesterday...not good. Snow boarding is a blast, but I fell a ton my first few days. Go for it though! I have been grounded all winter.

That is pretty sweet. I saw a small bowel phlegmon as a complication of ruptured diverticulitis yesterday...but most days, I just cut up boobie tumors and culture stem cells out of them.

The days where I actually get to go into surgery instead are sweet.

You should. Although, admittedly, I would just get you to come help me finish this project that's driving me crazy in lab...my undergrads have weak lab skills, so I can't push anything off on them.

But, the project's almost done, and you can have second author...er, second first author (can people do that?).
