THANK GOD! I was accepted this afternoon by email as well! I'm ecstatic, over the moon, shaking, feel like I'm dreaming, can't eat-can't sleep type of thing 🙂 Female matriculant here, Interviewed April 17, Alternate May 16, Accepted June 11! Keep praying and be patient everyone! It's not over till it's over!

Just wanted to say congrats again to everyone accepted to the Howard family! I will surely miss HUCM! Those 4 years really fly and were some of the best of my life!

I just have a quick question...
Is it a wrap for those of us who haven't heard back? I called the office yesterday and I got the voicemail saying that the class was full and those that haven't heard will get the final email (rejection). I know that some of you all are saying that it's not too late, but that message was pretty telling 😕
Can anyone give me some insight? I am so sad 😕

I too called yesterday and was told that the class was full. They said that at this point they will only be taking one applicant per week off of the waitlist...so I guess that adds up to be about 3-4 spots left since orientation is in 4 weeks. So I guess there is still a slight chance?Hello all!

This news gives us some hope👍. I'm so nervous, anxious and worried if this doesn't go through, though...
I also called yesterday and was told there is no internal ranking of remaining candidates (between all the Super Alternates and Alternates). I guess this means they can take anyone from either of the 2 lists and that there is no preference given to Super Alternates at this point.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US...I hope everyone waiting on this forum gets in

Anyone? I was accepted just recently, and I am desperate to find housing information. Ms. Walk is on vacation for several days, and I have been unable to reach Ms. Jones. I would very much appreciate it if someone could PM the Class of 2017 Facebook link.

I'm still waiting, but I know that if you go to Facebook and type "Howard University College of Medicine 2017" in the search box, then you'll find the page. Then click on join group. I think the page admin then has to accept you.

Hey everyone! I'm a rising second year at HUCM and just wanted to say congrats to all of the incoming students! Howard is truly a one-of-a-kind institution and you are going to LOVE it here. I just sent the facebook group link to a couple of you guys. If anyone else needs the link just let me know. Please enjoy the rest of your summer break and I can't wait to meet you all next month!

Has anyone heard anything this week? It's Friday, and I called in, but no one picked up. Did anyone get through to speaking with someone on admissions? If so, any updates?

+1 They finally sent me my rejection email after all this time. It's funny! Good luck everyone else though. Orientation starts for me in less than 2 weeks.
