Calm down. Someone's going to have to review your application before they can make a decision. It might take a while, but they'll let you know as soon as they have news for you.

Will they really? Have people actually been rejected? Been complete since late July- pretty sure my "under review" status is a silent rejection.

Anyone who interviewed on or after October 10th hear anything?
I interviewed on October 11th and just heard back from them.

I randomly checked my status over the weekend and found "Correspondence Sent." Not sure what that means - rejection? wait list? acceptance? Excited to hear from them soon.

Also, I haven't received an email from Temple yet =/, but I've been checking every morning -_-

I interviewed at the same day and mine still says interview complete

I just added Temple and I am from the South. For natives of this area and current students, how should I rank this clinical locations if I am interested in large cities but good clincial sites.

So far I have:
1) Temple
2) West Penn
3) Geisinger
4) Crozer
5) St. Lukes

Thank you for your help.

I can't really say since I really don't know what you consider a "good clinical site", but there's plenty of info on temple's website, and you can always check out the hospitals on US News World Report, or on Wikipedia. All I can speak to is that St. Luke's is in Bethlehem which is more than an hour from Philly, and I certainly wouldn't consider it a "large city" like Philly is.

Thanks for the response. I just don't know how I am suppose to rank these choices if I'm unfamiliar with the region.

Does anyone know if the West Penn clinical site is the site where Pitt Med student's rotate? It would be a bonus to have that diversity.

1. Main campus
2. West Penn
3. Crozer (IMO, this should be 3rd. You are just outside of Philadelphia county)
4. St. Luke's (small city)
5. Geisinger (Center of bumblef*** nowhere)

Pitt med rotates at UPMC, which is a completely different health system (and a competitor) from West Penn/Allegheny General.

Ok. Thanks a lot.

Any advice for somebody interviewing at Temple soon??? like what should they be aware of? what questions should they review?

Its been almost a month and a half since I have completed my application and my status is still "Under Review" My stats are not that bad.. mcat>30 and gpa>3.8. Should I be worried?

My interview was very much about my application and why Temple. It was very conversational; we went 15 minutes over just talking. My student interview wasn't so hot. No ethical questions, but be prepared. Check out the interview feedback page for some potential questions. Also, check out my blog for my experience and more info about the school.

Depress, they receive more than 10000 applications. There are thousands of qualified applicants who won't receive interviews here. I applied two months before you, have similar stats, and have heard nothing.

ACCEPTED this morning!!!!! Via Email 🙂

34Q, 3.5 OOS Interviewed 10/10

anyone hear back that has applied to Geisinger as their first choice?

Interviewed second week of October, just got the "correspondence sent" status.

I too just got correspondence sent.

Does anyone know if that means waitlist since it seems like people get accepted by email?

I don't think so. I had "Correspondence Sent" for the longest time, but eventually got the email.

Yup. It's been >3 months since I was complete.

I interviewed on 10/11 and it still says interview complete 🙁

Interviewed at St. Luke's 10/9, still at Interview Complete... Anybody know when St. Luke's decisions come, or has received one?

Any idea how far the ii's have been filled already? December?

Sent from my phone using Tapatalk 2

Is there anyone else who interviewed in late Sept. and has the very frustrating "interview complete" status...but you have not received a wait list letter?

I'm thinking maybe my wait list notification got lost? Or they just REALLY did not like me and this is their way of silently rejecting me? 😕
Yes, I interviews on September 27th and am still waiting for any change in my status. It still says "Interview Complete." Did anyone call to find out what this means?

no idea dude im in the same boat as you. i interviewed sept 26th. still nothiing here. no mail on status from them. saying waitlist or reject. nothing.

Has anyone recently gotten an interview? From previous posts, it looks like they give out interviews in batches? is that right? Also, if anyone has recently gotten an interview, when are the available dates?

I recently had a publication, should I provide the publication or should I also provide a description of it when I submit an update letter.

I just got wait listed here at Temple and from my understanding is that most people that interview here and do not get in are wait listed and not ever rejected? Also how does the wait list work, do they pick students on the waitlist and reinterview them etc by the order they came in? or is it if there's a spot they offer it to the next person on the waitlist?

How do you know you got waitlisted?

I definitely don't think waitlisted people get re-interviewed. I'd say the latter scenario is most likely what happens.

And assuming you got a letter in the mail informing you of the waitlist, does your online status say "Interview Complete" or "Correspondence Sent"?

I would also expect that they have multiple "wait lists" with different priorities of students. Wouldn't make much sense to me that all wait listed applicants are on the same level, and accepted based solely on the order in which they applied.

It does indeed say interview complete, and I found out through the mail. Thanks guys

Congrats! Still at interview complete and I think I interviewed with you guys (10/23). Dun dun dun...

Interviewed 10/23 also, but at St. Lukes. Heard that it usually takes longer to hear back from them because they have to send their decisions to the Philly campus and have them approved and then send out decisions to applicants. Neither of you interviewed at St. Lukes did you? Did you receive snail mail, email, status update?

Nope, we both interviewed at the Philly campus. I received mine by e-mail.
