So I released to fsu.

But If I go to my app I can still edit and change everything. Is it suppose to be like this? Is it waiting till they receive my LORs? Which I designated to the school when I submitted my secondary (which apparently takes more time).

Does anybody have any more info on this? Wouldn't mind tweaking a thing or two if its still available but I don't want to delay myself.
 
Hello??? Is there anybody in here??? Lol, secondary submitted and complete email received! I would love to be accepted here. Its a great program!!

is there a length limit for the answers to the questions on the secondary? 2,000 characters w/ spaces?
 
Also, for the question that asks about what you do for fun and diversion, do you think certain volunteer experiences could be considered in this? Should be, right?

I feel like I can accurately and fully address their prompts in far less than 500 words...maybe 250-350. I tend to write concisely and I hate to try to stretch it out and start sounding wordy and full of nothing, but at the same time I don't want to be counted against for "not using what they give me." Any thoughts?
 
Just got the secondary. I will get things sent in by Monday as I will have plenty of time to work on the essays this weekend.

Let's hope for some FSU love! :xf:
 
FSU COM early decision applicant here. Just got invited for the interview!!!! :soexcited: It would truly be an honour to attend this awesome school. 🙂 I definitely had my tears of joy!

M3 Here. You should use the space you are given. The prompts leave plenty of leeway to elaborate your story. You would be remiss to not take full advantage of it in my opinion. Don't feel mandated to ride the line at 499, but you should at least manage over 400.

I respectfully disagree. Be concise. The last thing you want to do is be verbose. If wouldn't write 200 words, but if you can do it in under 400, that's fine. When I wrote my residency personal statement, I went just over half a page - was told by many PDs that it was the best they'd read.

Got an ii on 8/27!!! Not early decision and they were missing one letter of rec (science professor), so I hope this is a good sign! 🙂

Oh, and I was complete 7/29

FSU is my undergrad institution. First II of the cycle. Beyond excited!!!
 
M2 here.

FSU is a great school. It's very laid back, everyone works together, and you have the opportunity to match into any specialty you desire (check our match lists). The student support is outstanding.

When i click to check my app status i get this message "Secondary Application Reviewed - Missing" what does that mean?! should i call them?

I would definitely call them about this! Sounds like they haven't received all the supplementary materials necessary to mark you as complete (ex: maybe they never got one of your LOR).
