Very likely there will be wait list movement, but there probably won't be any until May 15. There may be movement sooner around the end of April when they are done interviewing. I doubt they will take anyone off the wait lost before they are done with interviews, which continue until mid April.
 
Does anybody know if matriculating students receive a computer . I would never make a decision on this factor, but was curious if I would need to buy a new one.

We aren't given one. There is, however, a list of requirements that your computer must meet along with the different software they will install for you. The list is on the Welcome website link they send when you're accepted.
 
Completed 1/5, ii for the SELECT program 3/14, interview scheduled for 4/14. Pretty nervous since it seems like no one has posted about an acceptance in quite a while. 🤔

So far, it seems like no news = good news. If you're wait listed or rejected, you'll find out about a week after.
 
Well I interviewed 2/25 and just received a wait list letter through the mail.

I interviewed on March 11th for Core as OOS, and just got waitlisted through the mail =/
 
Rejected through email just now. Complete in November.

I wouldn't worry too much because a reported acceptance hasn't come through since Feb 13th (as far as I know) meaning their interviews were Feb 4th if not earlier. Besides that it's only been wait lists reported, but I know people who haven't heard anything and others who got wait listed and they had the same II day. I'm guessing that they are moving slowly through the files (similar to last years thread) and if you haven't heard back yet, then maybe you'll be accepted down the road because rejections are uncommon so I'd imagine if others are being wait listed from your II day and you haven't heard anything, then it may mean good news. Bottom line is to just hope and wait. I'm sure you and many others will get good news. Best of luck!

Are there still people out there who have not received an interview invite, but also have not received a pre-interview rejection?

It sucks that USF doesn't give you any feedback on your application if you're waitlisted. Based on how many people are being WL'd you have to imagine a decent amount aren't going to be coming off. It would've been nice to know what needs to be improved in case I don't get in this year

Did you apply to UF?
I'm not sure if they advertise a lot this but UF medical school will give feedback, only if you are not accepted to any school.

Wondering if anyone received an admissions decision following the 3/25/2014 interview? Also, for those who attended the interview on 3/25/14, do you remember when they said the committee was meeting? Thanks!

For those that are still waiting on an invite, I received mine last week. So they are still rolling them out. Good luck and congrats to those accepted!

Hey, wasn't at the 3/25/14 interview but interviewed in February, and wanted to say that it seems as if only waitlists or potential rejections are being offered since the beginning of February with no news of acceptances. This news generally comes about 7-10 days after the interview date. However, other people from similar dates are hearing nothing from USF with some waiting almost 2 months. I believe this might mean that all people who have heard nothing are being pooled into a potential acceptance group, and the committee is waiting for the last group of people to interview before any acceptances are sent out. Once the last group has interviewed, which I believe is in early-mid April, then people who have heard nothing will finally receive decisions with some acceptances hopefully given. Best of luck!

I think we'll be hearing about our financial aid package in mid-April. Anyone looking at apartments in South Tampa?
 
Do any wait listed students have some insight to offer about sending a Letter of Intent? If anyone has already sent one in, did you receive a reply email/letter confirming it? Thank you!

I would imagine final invites would be sent out that week at the latest since I believe interviews end the last week of April (going based off their website that says interviews "continue through April"). But I could be completely off base there.

11 days after interview and still no call and no letter. I don't expect to hear anything over the weekend. I hope you're theory regarding acceptances is correct, time will tell. Good luck!

Some of us have been waiting for more than a month so you're in a good place to be. I think that we should get our decisions in 2 weeks after the final interview group, assuming that they don't decide to waitlist people later on.
 
I interviewed on 2/11/14. Haven't heard anything yet.

I wouldn't go that far since I don't want to give any false hope since I have no idea. They're probably just waiting until final interviews before making any final decisions.

I would just rather not hear anything for now rather than a wait list or rejection, but we could get wait listed later on.
 
Does anyone know when the last interview date is for both core and select?
 
any update from Select candidates? acceptance, rejection or waitlist?
