I don't believe UTMB is considered in the lower tier. It's probably only ranked after Baylor, Southwestern, and Houston.can anyone shed some light on why other threads discuss schools such as UTMB and TT Lubbock to be in the "lower tier" of texas schools (though still great schools) when they have board scores of 130 and 132/pass rates of around 98-99% .... What am I missing, in what way are they lower tier?
TT Lubbock on the other hand is probably perceived as the worst Texas school in large part to poor location.
