Rejected today, Complete 7/16, GPA ~3.5, MCAT 31, ECs: 1,000+ hrs Research, 3000+ hrs clinical. One year out of college so not exactly non-trad.

Got the rejection email on Tuesday and it is Thursday the portal still shows:
Application Complete

Your application is under review.

I really hope so.. They must've read my app at this point (based on the shotgun burst around 7/5-7/20) so I'm hoping I'll be extended a II later on. I'm EC/GPA heavy with an average mcat (~70 LizzyM) so I'm not the prime cuts based on number games ...

Deep breath! Phew. Okay, we are alive 😀

I was complete 7/9 (submitted 7/5) and the majority of my comrades have gotten IIs or rejects. I'm taking it as a good sign right now and forcing myself to think positively for a II later in the cycle (october, perhaps)
