They send out emails on Saturdays ??? Or... is this just old (good) news?
Lol just old good news. Got the II yesterday around 2 pmThey send out emails on Saturdays ??? Or... is this just old (good) news?
II on a Saturday!
II two on a Saturday!Congrats! Complete?
I know the feeling (minus the UPenn part). My jefferson and Drexel interview had to be scheduled a month+ apart.🙁 It would have been nice to minimize travel expenses.
Complete 7/13Congrats! Complete?
Congrats!!! Stats/completion date if you do not mind?II two on a Saturday!
Perhaps the II's showed up on the portal earlier this week and the emails were sent out later? Looking at last year's thread, people said that sometimes it took 3 days to 2 weeks to receive an official email, even though their portal stated "II".
Anyone complete mid August with an II? (Boo July MCAT).
Yeah, I'm assuming that it is a tab/message. I was scouring hoping that it was hidden...no such luck. I still think they are on the July peeps.
Most likely a tab. That's how I saw my IIs from other schools who had the same kind of portal.Yeah, I'm assuming that it is a tab/message. I was scouring hoping that it was hidden...no such luck. I still think they are on the July peeps.

Or maybe just put on hold to see if there are any interview spots left for us after all the IIs are sent to applicants with better stats. lol. People on other threads said that they got IIs within 1-2 weeks of submitting secondaries. All my apps were completed between 8-15 August, nothing yet. Starting to get worried.
Patience. A lab mate of mine applied in July last year and received 7 ii's, the first of which came in November. The result? Four acceptances and a 25k/year scholarship. There is no way to predict the process...and remember, SDN is a small sample size (the same people on every thread). I have friends with crazy stats (520+, 3.8+) and no ii's. Interviews go all the way through April at most places...
And if you were on hold at drexel they would notify you (as they have a hold status). Thousands of apps and school is just beginning...give it time.

???
Their apps probably have not been reviewed yet...
Contrary to SDN philosophy, just because you don't have multiple ii's in Aug does not mean you are a terrible applicant. Adcoms can only review so many applications. I teach in a medical school (yes, teach) and I don't have an ii there yet. Does it mean that the undergrads who have ii's there are more qualified than me? Good god no.
Anyone have any information on the format of their interviews? I can't find any information on their website or emails stating whether it will be MMI vs one on one. Am i missing something?
I'm from the West Coast unfortunately and both Frontier and Spirit red-eyes. lolTry Frontier and Spirit! They both fly into Philly and have some really good rates from other cities on the east coast. I've float Atlanta to Philly and Charlotte to Philly for less than $100 round trip on those airlines.
So I just received an "application complete" email, however I was marked as complete on the portal around 7/20. Anyone else experience this?
Sent from my iPhone using SDN mobile
I also submitted that day and am OOS, but haven't heard anything. Would you mind sharing your stats?just contributing back....II this past saturday...complete 7/27...OOS

Interviewing here as well! 🙂 Do any current students have any info about areas where students tend to live? Just want to check it out when I'm there. I can't remember if this is one of the Philly schools that is in a rougher area where students tend to live a bit of distance away or if thats Temple or SKMC lol
If you click on the website link on the interview page it provides a little more info. A one on one interview with a group student interview I believe. On here there is also word of a ethics essay at the beginning of the day, idk if that is still happening since it wasn't on the provided info....
Does anyone know if there is storage available for luggage at the interview?

Any suggestions on what to do/eat in Philly the night before the interview? (Besides interview prepping and trying to calm down nerves 😉)
