Does Stanford only send secondaries to verified applicants or to all applicants?

Incoming MS1 at SMS so happy to help out whenever I can and answer questions for current applicants.
 
Anyone know the average MCAT score for applicants at SMS? more specifically for the new MCAT...
 
II as well, received at about 7:00am PST this morning!!

SO EXCITED, I go to school just across the Bay, so this should be a fun interview.

Primary submitted June 7th, about three minutes after AMCAS opened, verified that afternoon.
Secondary received June 30th, submitted July 23rd (yes, I know, I'm bad).
LizzyM ~ 79.
 
II as well this morning. Submitted primary June 7th, didn't get verified until June 16th. Secondary received June 30th, submitted July 19th. Lizzy 78, URM.

Tried to check the interview calendar to schedule a date but it's telling me that no interview dates are available right now, is anyone else having this same issue?

Same issue, just called their office and left a message. I'm gonna send an email along as well.

Definitely keep an eye on it, the interview is forfeited if it isn't scheduled within five business days of receiving the email.

II received the other day.

I was wondering if everyone else with an II still couldn't schedule their interviews yet - I haven't had any luck.
 
Has anyone submitted a few weeks ago and been rejected yet? I submitted my secondary on July 16th and haven't heard anything yet, so all these II's from dates submitted after mine has me worried. LizzyM 74

As far as I know Stanford doesn't send out any rejections till after the interview season is done.

I feel like, for Stanford, it's not just about when you submitted the secondary. I turned mine in near the 3-week mark and heard back pretty quickly, so content/other factors probably also will influence when you get an II here.
 
Everybody here realizes that a II is an interview invite right and not a supplemental application (application with essays)

I don't think dates are up yet, still. /sigh.
 
Dates are up! At least, one date.

My portal just changed to show only October 07 as available.

How many interview dates were available when you checked? I just got a chance to sign up now and only one day in only October is available.

There were two October dates earlier today. I'm assuming one has already been filled up if you're only seeing one.

I am confused and new to these threads. Could someone please explain why in some of them people are referring to the secondary application (with essays) as II but here you guys are referring to an interview invite AFTER the secondary application as II?? Is this correct?

Some people think (incorrectly) that "II" is a roman numeral 2, so they call secondary applications "II"s. It means interview invite.
 
If other people already got II and you submitted around the same time or before does that mean you definitely wont? When do they send out rejections?
 
They were not sending rejections in the past but they changed the process in 2015 when they sent out the first batch of rejections around thanksgiving.

Hey not 100% sure, but I am assuming that this is a L for me haha. Based on previous threads, the later batches had later applicants.

Sent in my secondary application last week after finally getting my MCAT score back... also have had all of my letters of recommendation in since July 1st, but ONE of my 5 letters has an incomplete status. Said it has been sent to Stanford, but says it has not been received. I have letters that were uploaded later than this one that are listed as complete. This one letter is holding my file back from being completed. I sent an email off to Admissions but did/does anyone else have a problem like this?
 
Does Stanford Accept application updates? Have a publication that I want to let them know about....
 
For those of you who've sent in secondaries or gotten II's, when you submitted your secondary and your file was marked complete on Stanford's website, did you also receive an email saying your file was complete?

Yeah. Submitted secondary at night, received the "application complete" email the morning after (both days were weekdays)

I think that's for interview day. This is from the II email:
"Photo Identification: On your interview day, please have ready a photo ID available, such as a driver's license or passport. As part of our protocol, your picture will be taken by our electronic photo system and you will need to log into the system using your AAMC ID number and password. The photo is used to confirm your identity and will be kept on file."

I added Stanford a little late in the game.

But did anyone experience having their letters marked as incomplete even though it also states they're received by them?
