Did anyone receive an email from Nova confirming that they received your primary? Not sure if they do that.

Haven't heard yet from any of the DO schools I applied to about confirming the received primary. Those and secondary invites should be rolling in around late June and early July, if past threads are any indication.

Got the primary received notice/secondary invite

Secondary received!

Still debating about finishing my application because of the hesitation to recommend this school I've read from other posts concerning their downward board scores....
Anyone want to chime in on pros/cons about Nova?

Not sure I’m doing this right but here’s a link to a debate on this topic I found recently.

Nova reputation clear up

For the question about if you have applied to NSU before should I put yes if I am also applying to the MD program??

I worked as a scribe after graduation. Should I put this information in the "employment during undergraduate or graduate school" or in the "significant health care-related volunteer activities" because it was not during undergrad and it was not a volunteer activity.

I also started working as a scribe after graduating. I didn't mention my scribe experience in either of those prompts, for the same reasons you've mentioned. Did you work during graduate school? If so, you could definitely include it, then.

Scribing isn't volunteering.

I worked as a scribe right after graduating as well, and I did not talk about it because the wording of the question states DURING undergraduate or graduate school. Now it would be different if you scribed and you are in graduate school. If not though, I would talk about other employment which is what I did.

Can someone please confirm NOVA secondary? Anything more or less than this?

How did you learn about osteopathic medicine?

If you were employed during the regular school year (excluding summers) while in undergraduate or graduate school, please list dates of employment beginning with your current position along with title or job description, level of responsibility, and number of hours per week.

List and briefly describe your significant health care-related volunteer activities since graduation from high school.

Thanks! Good luck to all! 🙂

Just boxes to check and little things, that is all for the essays.

When do people typically start hearing about interviews?

anyone else submit a while ago without getting a secondary yet?

I submitted my secondary a few days ago and this morning I received a random call from the admission office saying that they received my app. Did anyone else get this call?

Yes I got one too! It was kind of confusing. So after they process (4-6 weeks) they will call to let you know if you are interviewing? Or they will just decline you at that point. Is that the vibe you got as well?

What did they say? I missed the call 🙁

I missed the call too, but they left me a voicemail saying that my app was complete and that they were going to be reviewing it soon.
+1 also missed the call because I was at work, but I did get the voicemail.

got the secondary, but my login +pin isnt working.. LMAO

How did you all recieve secondaries? Email?

Anyone know when they send out the first batch of interviews?
To preface this is purely speculation, but last year the first SDN reported II I saw was on 7/25. I submitted the secondary the first day i got it and got the call on 6/21 to say i was complete, status online also has all my stuff received that day as well. So if they stick to the 4-6 week timeline my guess would be 2 more weeks? I’d be surprised if any go out next week since it’s the 4th and all, but I would love to be wrong, lol.

Tried to log in to work on my secondary just now and the site is down for maintenance... has this happened for anyone else? Hoping my link isn't broken or something.

Yeah, mine was down all day Saturday, there was an error message saying it would be back at midnight 7/1. I didnt check then but did this morning and the link seems to be working fine for me now.
