Just received an email : app “is now complete and will be forwarded for review by the office of admissions”

Based on our previous posts, I received the fee email before you but I haven't gotten a complete/forwarded for review email... I wonder what order they send those in.

You're right. I noticed it says it in their email that the application fee was waived.

"This email confirms receipt of your AMCAS application to the FSU College of Medicine. Because you qualify for the AAMC Fee Waiver program, your secondary application fee to the FSU College of Medicine has also been waived."

Check that email they sent like right after receipt! I noticed mine says it in that one.

I never received an email like that :/ Seems like I didn't get a confirmation right after I submit my secondary.

Yeah I just called them and they said there's no email of receipt of secondary and that I should be receiving a fee email soon even if I'm FAP.

That's so weird! Guess the email they sent me is... not a confirmation email despite that it says confirmation? lol

I'm not sure what's going on lol. Did your portal change? Mine still says "Thank you for completing your FSU COM Secondary Application! You will receive instructions on paying the $30 secondary application fee soon. A confirmation email will be sent after the payment has been received. Your application will NOT be completed, and subsequently not reviewed for interview, until the fee has been paid."

That is happening to me, too! I haven't submitted my secondary yet, so I emailed admissions to see what's going on. Will let you know when they reply

They said the payment is separate. You can submit the payment and then submit your application.

Yeah I saw a bunch of early decisions. Then one guy in October who was regular decisjon was talking about his interview coming up that he got in mid September. Well we will find out soon in either case!
