Hey guys! I’m a little confused about interview day. For anyone that interviewed here, is it solely an MMI interview plus a group activity. MSAR says that they also have a traditional interview as well, so I just wanted to make sure. Also, what’s the format of the MMI like? Is it 7-8 stations? 2 minutes to read the prompt and 5 minutes to answer? Any info will help. Thanks in advance!

Can’t say much because they had us sign a confidentiality agreement haha but yeah, just PBL activity + MMI stations. I think the traditional thing was something they did last year. And they state in the interview invitation email how many stations there are/how long you have at each one.

From what I understand it's an MMI plus a group PBL session. I don't think they have the traditional interview this year but they did have it last year. MSAR must be out of date. I haven't interviewed yet, however.

Thank you! Good luck at your interview!

Thanks a lot! I hope you get that acceptance soon!

for those who already interviewed here do they have a place for people to leave luggage during the day?? they sent an interview reminder that asked people to bring as few belongings as possible, so just want to make sure it is okay to bring my luggage as I need to go straight to the airport afterwards

Yeah I had luggage and they just took it for me and locked it in their office for the day

Anyone scheduled for Nov 8 want to meet up on Nov 7? I'm flying in on Nov 6 and flying back right after the interview.

just interviewed here today and absolutely loved it. the campus is beautiful and everyone who works in the program was amazing. my only concern is this being a new school and that it may be difficult to get into a competitive residency from here (since it is so new and doesn’t have a reputation yet). what is everyone else’s thoughts?

If you look up the match lists from UCF, FAU, FIU, etc., you'll see that the inaugural classes had no trouble matching, and they matched into excellent residencies. I don't think being a new school matters much at all as long as your residency application is otherwise solid.
