So for the secondary, we DONT upload the secondary app through there, but instead email correct?
 
Secondary received, OOS, ORM, 3.29 cGPA, 3.04 sGPA, 3.44 Master's GPA, 509 MCAT

RIP to my wallet for the $200 fee 🙁

For me it's just personal preference I think either campus would be fine. I currently live in NYC and am in love with the city and also for my future practice I want to work with underserved communities in urban settings so Harlem would just provide me with the experiences I want in my medical education.
 
Wondering what the screen is because stats don’t seem to have a consistent trend.
 
so for the secondary app there's a question about AP classes. I took AP English in high school and got a 3, but it says that only a 4 or 5 are acceptable. Will this be an issue?

Yes it will. I wrote to them months ago to ask about my 3 on AP physics even though I took the second physics course in college and got an A. You will have to retake the course if you want to apply.
 
Needing the AP report from over 4 years ago is pretty annoying since we have to wait to attach that document to the email! Hopefully doesn't take longer than 2 weeks to receive in the mail!
 
I understand that we send them that word doc instead of uploading it... but we still need to "submit" the secondary through their portal right?

Is the only secondary essay "Please discuss how your background, experience or academic program has prepared you for meeting Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Mission, Goals, or Objectives. Consider addressing a few of the following areas: Why Osteopathic Medicine? Have you been exposed to a diverse environment and how did you contribute? How have your academic background and personal experiences prepared you for medical school?" like last year?

Hi everyone! To those that got the secondary today, when did you submit your primary? I submitted mine on 8/14 and still didn't get a secondary. Do you think they're sending out secondaries in the order they received their primaries?

I logged in and my report was still there and it's 5 years old! So log in and check before ordering it because you might be lucky and it'll still be in the system!
 
Kind of upset that my prerequisite for english won't count because I got a score of 3 on my AP exam junior year of high school, not sure what to do rn :/

I submitted mine 6/15. I’m assuming they’re doing it in batches since they say they screen.

For me, it says "No scores available" online so I have to request a report unfortunately!

That feeling when you craft the perfect essay and then realize they want $200... Good lord.
 
Do you guys make sure to answer all the “things to consider” questions in the secondary?

The CollegeBoard website says to “expect delays of at least 8 weeks or more for archived AP score report orders” due to COVID lol. It’s ridiculous that they’re asking for it and not just using what we have credit for on our transcripts. I’m just gonna submit without it and see what happens

Yea I am thinking of doing the same and just sending a separate email with the AP document whenever it arrives by mail
 
I know middletown has instate bias as its their rural off branch campus but does anyone know if harlem does? I heard many people OOS go to harlem and the ISers go middletown.
 
I just submitted my secondary. When I click to view the completed supplemental application I sent, some of the boxes I checked are no longer checked, but when I download the doc I sent, they're visible again. Does anyone else have this issue?
 
Can someone confirm that there is still the $200 fee for the secondary submission for this cycle? It wasn't concretely clear from this thread.
 
Is the school waiving regular exclusions of online and p/f classes to count for prereqs?
 
So I'm really confused about the secondary. I filled out the document and emailed it but is that it? I didn't pay a fee...

Hi, I just wanted to make sure I'm understanding this correctly. There are two essays, correct? The one in the Word document and the one in the PDF document? The essays are kind of similar.
