Ah I'm sorry; that must be so frustrating...But hey, PCOMone right?....

If I may ask, what don't you like about PCOM-GA?
Hey DM me for my honest opinions. I would post public but word gets around and I'm not tryna get kicked out

Does anyone know which day the committee meets every week? I was told they do, but I was unsure of when!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to say I am a current M1 here at PCOM-PA and absolutely love it.

There is constant back and forth communication between the administration and student body, and everyone genuinely wants to see you succeed. Very happy to be here, as this was my top DO choice and that was shown to be vindicated 🙂

Hope to see you guys on campus next year!

P.S. feel free to message me if you have any questions regarding anything
Also my top choice out of all my interviews and I’m so excited to start here this fall

For those who are accepted has anyone received any info regarding the Technical Standards form or starting background checks etc.?
No and I was accepted 12/6. It said it would be a few weeks and I was just expecting it after the holidays

Accepted! I just got the notification today but the letter in my portal was dated for Dec 17th, so if anyone else has interviewed, maybe check your portals? I interviewed December 1st and they said it would be 4-6 weeks so I definitely wasn’t expecting anything to come until January!

Just found out there was a payment due in order to be fully complete smh. I hope it’s not too late. I was complete back in august.

Submitted secondary/paid in last august but still no word or anything. Should i do anything? Is this an R? OOS mcat 510 gpa 3.5

Does anyone know when they’ll start reviewing apps again? Is it this week or not until after the new year?
Not until new year seems to be the trend from past years. Enjoy the holidays for now! Then we can stress together afterwards, all refreshed. 😭

Got a II in late December, was complete 8/30. LM72

I was just wondering for those who have interviewed, is the welcome session at 12 and then you go to your interview link at the designated time? Also, any tips? I’ve only had one other interview this cycle and haven’t done a closed file format yet. Thank you!

Just got an email notification 10min ago saying that my app status has changed, but nothing has been updated in the portal. Called admissions and they think the email was sent in error...ughhh, they're really drawing this out.

When did you interview? My acceptance was on the home page of the portal below the home, interview, and application material link

Interview on 11/19. Was actually just notified that I was placed on hold. I assume that this is equivalent to the waitlist?

I have no idea on holds, but I would assume it may be the WL judging on your interview date. I am only basing this on the trend in the thread, but people that interviewed around your interview date or beginning of December already received decisions, so I am surprised you are receiving your decision this late

How long is the interview at PCOM-PA?
When you log in, you have a information session with current 2nd year students that lasts from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Then you get sent off and come back for your individual interview which takes 30 min. Your individual interview may be scheduled right after the information session, or you might have the individual interview at a later time leaving a gap in time (e.g. your interview might be at 12:30 leaving a 90 min gap in time)

Where exactly does one see their status on the portal? TIA!
For me, I got an email indicating that there was a "status update" on my PCOM portal so I would look out for that first. The status update is located on the PCOM portal under the home tab. There should also be a blue hyperlink with the words "view update" to see your decision status

When I was interviewing HOLD meant that a decision had not been made. There are 2 terminal decisions Accept or Reject. If you are waitlisted, depending on the campus, you may not hear anything about a final decision until almost end of the cycle. Usually when on hold they are waiting for some type of information, new grades, new MCAT or something. If your letter didn't state anything specific it is very possible that one of your interviewers could not attend the Committee meeting so they put you on hold until they can hear from that person. Again, they have a new direction in the department so things may have changed up a bit from when I was active in the process.

Has anyone received the email with the technical standards to DocuSign? If so how soon after your acceptance did you get it? And does anyone know when orientation starts? For moving purposes I just didn’t know when classes started

Has anyone gotten any recent IIs? Or anyone had any luck with sending in updates?

Anyone having trouble with login? I tried to reset my password and it says "No account exists for this email address and birthdate."
