Feel free to also DM if you have match list Qs (this year's list will also be posted at 2nd look). However I will say that it's pretty much the norm for ppl to match top academic if that's what they want. In most years, Duke is always the #1 match spot, followed by MGH/BWH, one of the top West coast programs (last year was Stanford, this year is UCSF), and then usually Penn/Washu/Columbia/Northwestern (location preference driven)@toastedbutter genuinely curious can you give insight. would be cool as well once match list for it comes out to see how many are top academic.
At least for last year's list, I don't recall seeing anyone only get a 1 year prelim spot with no follow up residency listed.
