2024-2025 Duke

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The FA office usually does a presentation near the end of March and most need/merit aid comes out a little after second look. There are certain merit scholarships where the winner(s) are notified at second look.

Also congrats to all the As so far! I don't use SDN much these days, but feel free to @ or DM me if you have specific program questions
This is probably dumb but if you can't go to SLW is that looked down upon for scholarships particularly if they announce some at SLW?

Does anyone know what their policy is on letters of intent/interest from waitlisted applicants?

+1 Post II OOS R, interviewed 9/25, great way to wake up seeing Admissions Letter in the subject for it to be a R 🔥🔥.

+1 Post-II OOS R, Interviewed 1/15 || Honestly really perplexed bc I thought I'd interviewed well. Guess the fact that I submitted 11/15 could have played into it :/

WL. not my best interview performance here, but I was hopeful :’)
Not sure how accurate MSAR is, but it seems like there’s way more WL on here so I’m unsure about chances of A

Did you see anything promising regarding WL movement?
Looks like no movement happens until early May, but then it happens all at once. So basically we're in for another waiting game. Honestly I'm just gonna try to forget about it and assume I'm going to attend my other A and maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised later on

This is probably something I should have researched before, but if we get off waitlist in May, what do we do with the school we have listed on CYMS? Is it not binding by April 30? If this has been answered well elsewhere feel free to drop a link 🙏 thanks!

dumb question, but do we have to do anything to accept the A? i know for other schools we have to click accept...

I dont think so? I think we just have to pay the deposit but that can wait until april 30th. can someone else confirm LOL

yes, its dif for me at least
where are y'all seeing this ID? on my WL letter it just says the date, my name, and home address at the top...

Does anyone know what their financial aid is like?

Could a current medical student explain when Step1/2 are taken and how much dedicated study time is provided? TY!
