IDK I wouldn't worry about it too much since they send out IIs at what feels like the most unexpected time. Schools are like cats; they come and leave whenever they feel like it. Hope you get in tho.

When they said that at the end of the interview I was definitely scared 😭
 
Hey guys!! Congrats to everyone who has gotten an II so far. I wanted to ask, for those with IIs, did you fill out the additional info prompt? If so, what did you end up putting there. Feeling so burnt out but I'll write the why us if I have to...

covid-19 and gap year info!
 
This might be a silly question, but are both days (info session + MMI) fully blind? I know the MMI itself is, but will we be asked personal questions at any point before/after it or during the info session day?

I just shot my shot here and unexpectedly got the II this week so I'm super excited but also nervous...

Does anyone who has already interviewed have any advice on how they prepared for the Team MMIs? (First time hearing about team-based stations)

Congrats! The info session was student led for the most part, the only time I remember participating was just interacting with the med students and other applicants

You’ll be given a task and you work with another applicant to try to complete it. I think the adcoms are less concerned about if you can actually complete the task, and instead are observing your communication and teamwork skills. Remember that the applicants you are paired with are your colleagues, not your competition in these stations. I don’t think you can really prepare besides reviewing effective communication skills. These were honestly the most fun and least stressful stations in my Duke interview!
 
To anyone who has interviewed: is it just the MMI in the afternoon and the Sunday info session, or are there other events? Trying to figure out taking off work
 
Was anyone else told that apps would be evaluated 2-3 weeks after interview and we could still submit updates more than a week after interview? If so do we just email admissions

On my interview day, we were told to submit an update within a week of the interview, but maybe it differs at different points in the cycle.
 
Does Duke send you an email if your supplemental is complete (i.e. letters received too)? All I see is "Application Screening - Your supplemental application has been completed. Your application is now being reviewed by a set of independent screeners on our admissions committee" on the top of the portal.

mine says the same i think there's no email esp cuz they are not medadmit
